Lijiapu Chaotian River
Green jungles, clear reflections, a true green wonderland, you can camp and picnic anywhere
Truly feel what is the antidote to a tired life
Haotang Village
One of China's most beautiful villages, with white walls and gray tiles, a complete Hui-style architecture. In summer, you can watch water buffaloes bathe in the lotus river, children frolic in the water, while adults sit by, drinking tea and chatting. Renting a tricycle and riding around the village is just too wonderful
Jianshan Coffee
Navigate to Jianshan Coffee in Xianqiao Village, 30 minutes from the downtown area, it has an ambiance of building a hut in the midst of civilization, yet without the noise of cars and horses. Outside the window is a natural painting far away from the hustle and bustle, beautiful scenery plus coffee, super comfortable
Wenxin Tea Village
About an hour's drive from the downtown area, the tea village does not require an entrance ticket.
From the top of the mountain, you can overlook the entire tea village, the scenery is very beautiful, it's a must-visit place

Travel Tips
1. Equivalent to Suzhou and Shanghai, Xinyang is a less popular city, and the distance between scenic spots is relatively far, suitable for self-driving tours.
2. Bring your student ID and ID card, half price for scenic spots with a student ID. Take good care of your mobile phone.
3. Bring a selfie stick, power bank, and charger.
4. Be prepared for sun protection, as both Jigong Mountain and Nanwan Lake are outdoors.
5. Jigong Mountain and Xijiu Hua Mountain are not very high, suitable for hiking.
6. Nanwan Lake is very large, with beautiful scenery and various animals inside.
7. Xinyang Maojian tea is very famous, you can go to Wenxin Tea Garden to experience tea picking.
Although Xinyang belongs to Henan, it is located in the southernmost part. Its eastern neighbor is Anhui, and its southern neighbor is Hubei. The western and southern parts of Xinyang are Tongbai Mountain and Dabie Mountain, respectively, which are the watershed of the Jianghuai Basin. Whether from the perspective of natural scenery or cultural customs, the tourism resources are quite rich.
Henan Xinyang's tea gardens are also a major attraction. During the tea picking season each year, the clouds and mist are hazy, and walking among them, your nostrils are filled with the natural fragrance of tea. Now, traveling in this season, walking in the city's parks and streets, you are constantly surrounded by the fragrance of osmanthus, providing a wonderful experience from visual, olfactory, and gustatory aspects. Tea is probably the most well-known calling card of Xinyang. During the Tang and Song dynasties, Xinyang tea was absolutely top-tier in Huainan Road, and Su Dongpo specifically affirmed 'Huainan tea, Xinyang is the best.'

Help, beauties! Why am I only hearing about such a beautiful place now?
In Xinyang, Henan, there is a place called 'Jiangnan of the North'—Nanwan Lake!
🏞 During the May Day holiday, I went there myself to experience it, and it was truly breathtaking!
🌿 First of all, the prices for the entrance and boat tickets are very reasonable, and children under 1.4 meters can even enter for free!
👶 Remember to book group tickets one day in advance, it's more cost-effective!
💸 Upon entering the scenic area, you can choose to take a ferry car or drive your own car to the ferry dock. The ferry car costs only 5 yuan, while parking for private cars is just 10 yuan, but remember to go early, as parking spaces may run out later.
🚗🚌 Nanwan Lake has three islands: Tea Island, Bird Island, and Monkey Island. I visited Tea Island this time, and the scenery there was simply picturesque, with verdant tea fields, winding lakes, and clear streams, each spot perfect for taking photos!
📸 Moreover, be sure to visit the top floor of Shi Yuan Pavilion, where you can overlook the entire island and feel a sense of openness, as if all worries have been carried away by the wind, leaving only the beautiful scenery and tranquility in front of you.
🌄 Although I couldn't make it to Bird Island this time due to the crowd, I believe the scenery there must also be beautiful. I will definitely go there next time I have the chance!
In the end, don't forget to leave your mark at Nanwan Lake, the beauty here is definitely worth exploring! Come to Nanwan Lake in Xinyang and experience the unique beauty of 'Jiangnan of the North'!

The scenery is beautiful, the climate is pleasant, it is a national 4A level scenic spot, and also the main production area of "Xinyang Maojian" tea, known as the "Pearl of Southern Henan".
❤Reason for recommendation: When you first arrive at Nanwan Lake, you really feel the magic of the mountains and waters. What comes into view are the continuous green islands and the vast lake surface, the lake water is clear and transparent, and the air is fresh, making it an excellent place for leisure and vacation.
🌟Recommended check-in spots:
🚩1. Tea Island, the most characteristic themed cultural island of Nanwan Lake, where you can learn in detail about the origin of the name Xinyang Maojian, the growing environment, picking time, picking method, production process, and awards won. It's a great place for entertaining guests and chatting about tea; Tea Character Creek, where the babbling stream forms a 'tea' character, next to it is the statue of Su Dongpo, a great literary figure of the Song Dynasty, where you can take photos and check in; Tourist Tea Picking Area, where you can experience the fun of picking tea yourself; you can watch tea picking, tea frying, and tea art performances, performance times: Monday to Friday (10:00 AM, 11:30 AM/3:30 PM, 5:00 PM), weekends and holidays (9:30 AM, 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM/3:00 PM, 4:00 PM, 5:00 PM).

🚉Transportation strategy: Not far from the city center, take a taxi from Xinyang Station, and you'll arrive in about 20 minutes. ❤️Warm tips!
1. Bring a coat for this season, it's still a bit cool on the lake.
2. It takes about 20 minutes to travel between islands by boat, small boat there and back, big boat there and back, the whole journey is limited to one type of boat.
3. The farmhouse pot rice of Nanwan Lake is very good, and so is the fish from Nanwan Lake, remember to try it!
4. If you are driving, you can go further in, stroll by the lake or play in the nearby mountains and forests, listen to the birds and cicadas, and feel the comfort of the green oxygen bar.

Off-season~Nanwan Lake
Coming here to play during the off-season is quite good, not many people, waited for half an hour to gather more than a dozen people to set off the boat, a boat of people feels like a group tour, I see a lot of bad reviews on the internet are caused by the lack of experience due to the large number of people during the peak season.
It feels quite worthwhile, every piece of scenery is worth your personal experience.
It's best to take a ride to the dock, there's also a lot of walking after getting on the island.
Get some water and food before going to the island, not too much, just a few hours in total. Peanut Monkey Island also sells, not expensive, you can go there to buy food for the monkeys.

Nanwan Lake Scenic Area, located in Xinyang City, Henan Province, has always been known as the Southern Pearl of Henan.
This afternoon, we drove to Nanwan Lake, took a boat ride to enjoy the lakes and mountains on both sides of the river, and boarded the "Tea Island" in the lake.
In the "Tea Island" of Nanwan Lake, everyone continues to enjoy tea while enjoying the scenery, is there a better holiday time than this?
SHUN.
Xinyang is the southernmost city in Henan Province. It has rich tourism resources, and Nanwan Lake is known as the first lake in the Central Plains. Yesterday's boating tour, coincident with the heavy rain, the ink-like scenery in front of you is more dreamy and charming. Boarding the tea island in the lake, I found that the island is full of chestnut trees, and the fruit has fallen to the ground. I learned from the locals how to call the chestnut without being stabbed by the outside, and also tasted the taste of raw chestnut for the first time. The experience is very wonderful.
