Nazhou Island Travel Guide: Transportation • First, reach Dongnan Pier in Zhanjiang by driving, taking a taxi, or riding bus 506/507 from Zhanjiang West Station. From Zhanjiang Station/Xiashan District, you can take a direct shuttle to Dongnan. Then take a ferry from Dongnan Pier to Nazhou Island. • On the island, you can rent electric vehicles or sightseeing cars for transportation. Attractions • Nazhou Lighthouse: One of the three most famous lighthouses in the world, built in 1897. You can take photos around it and admire its exterior architecture. • Nayan Rocky Beach: A unique volcanic rock coastline where waves crash against the reefs, creating spectacular scenery. • Cunliang Bay: Fine sand and clear water, perfect for beachcombing, swimming, and collecting shells. • Sea Turtle City: Great for children. You can buy winter melons for 5 yuan to feed the sea turtles. Food • Seafood Feast: Try fresh seafood like garlic steamed shrimp and steamed fish at seafood stalls or fishing port restaurants. • Local Snacks: Try fish balls, shrimp cakes, Laozai noodles, and other snacks available at the pier night market. Accommodation • Seaside Resort Hotels: Such as Nazhou Island Resort, with complete facilities and sea views. • Budget Hotels: Affordable, clean, and tidy. • Guesthouses: May Coast Guesthouse is built by the sea. You can go beachcombing, play in the sand, and swim right below the guesthouse. Free beachcombing tools are provided, which is very convenient. Tips • Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, etc. • Check the weather forecast in advance. • Pay attention to safety when playing by the sea and avoid swimming in dangerous waters.

I just got back from Zhanjiang and can't wait to share my 8-day, 7-night in-depth travel guide! Days 4-5: Nanji Village | Visit the southernmost point of the Chinese mainland * Must-sees: Nanji Village Monument, Heshuixian, Artist Tribe, and Dengloujiao * Accommodation recommendation: Xuwen Wangjiao Haiju Inn. Facing the sea, with spring blossoms in the air, you can watch the tides ebb and flow every day. Attached is the guide😎 🚗Transportation/Travel 1⃣️From all over the country, arrive at Zhanjiang Airport or Zhanjiang High-Speed Rail Station, then reach Dongnan Pier and take a passenger ship to the island. It is strongly recommended to drive by yourself, then park the car at the pier and ride an electric bike around the island. If you don't drive, you can take a bus at Haitian Station, 15 yuan per person, or take a ride-sharing service, but there are fewer ride-sharing options for the return trip, and a taxi costs about 180 yuan. If you drive, the journey takes about an hour. PS: It is not recommended to take a sedan to the island, otherwise, you might end up queuing for the return ship for a long time, which could make you cry. If you must take a sedan to the island, be sure to queue early for the return trip, especially during holidays.
