It is part of Oita Prefecture, which is famous for its hot springs, and is particularly known for its specialty dish, Toriten (fried chicken). Oita Castle Park 📍4 Niagemachi, Oita, 870-0046 Japan Traveling to Oita. What kind of charm will it have? Oita Station. Arrived. It's quite busy. It doesn't feel like a small city. Since Oita City is not a tourist destination, there aren't many places to visit. Today, I'll introduce one of them. Oita Castle Park. Oita Castle Park is about a 20-minute walk from Oita Station. Oh... It's pretty cool. If you take pictures, you can get some great pictures. Since it's a trip to Japan, if you want to feel the Japanese sensibility while traveling to Oita, I recommend stopping by. #JapanTravel

#thingstodo Huge parking lot! However, there are historical sites on all four corners, so it takes more walking than I expected to visit them all. However, I think 15 minutes is enough to cover the whole area. The stone steps give you the feel of a historical site, and the slope is steep, and the stones are uneven with large gaps, so although they are short, I don't think people in heels will be able to climb them. I was able to get out into a slightly open area, but what I could see was the streetscape of an ordinary residential area. There was something like a museum, but it was closed because it was early in the morning. While I was pressed for bus time, it was the perfect place to quickly sightsee around Oita Station.
