LA Walking Tour: 4 Must-Visit Spots!
Plan a one-day trip to LA during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday!
These 4 attractions may seem far apart, but they’re actually very close!
📍Grand Central Market
This place is super popular among locals for food shopping! It’s bustling with activity! I tried a Cuban dumpling-like dish filled with pork—it was packed with flavor and absolutely delicious! 💛
📍Angels Flight Railway
Turns out it’s right next to Grand Central Market! I thought it was much farther away (⁎⁍̴̛ᴗ⁍̴̛⁎). If you’re a movie buff, you must ride this historic train at least once. It’s only US$1—affordable and fun!
📍Olvera Street
I wanted to try churros, and Google immediately pointed me to this Mexican street. Coincidentally, I was planning to visit anyway, so I got to explore the area and enjoy some churros! The caramel churros here are crispy, chewy, and absolutely delicious! No wonder it’s Google’s top recommendation.
📍LA Chinatown
Having visited San Francisco’s Chinatown, it’s hard to compare other Chinatowns 🤣. Maybe because it was a holiday, the day I visited was pretty quiet. Still, it’s worth checking out the flowers! The whole street is lined with pink blossoms—I’m not sure if they’re cherry blossoms or something else 🤣🤣.
The Dragon Boat Festival is perfect for a one-day trip! 🙆🏻♀️
