Prang Ku, Roi Et, once you go, you will fall in love with the enchanting atmosphere!
When talking about Roi Et, many people may think of famous temples or rice field views. But in fact, there is an ancient place that should definitely be visited, which is *Prang Ku* or what the locals call *Ku Ban Khao*. This is an ancient Khmer site that is still in good condition. Plus, you don't have to drive far to get there in a very chill way.
The castle is made of laterite in the Khmer art style. Even though it has been hundreds of years, it still has an indescribable mystical and powerful look. According to history, it used to be the location of a hospital during the ancient Khmer Empire (called **Arokyasala**) which was used as a place to treat people at that time.
What makes Prang Ku a fascinating place to visit is the peaceful atmosphere, as if we were traveling back in time. There is also a Buddha statue shrine inside the castle, allowing visitors to pay their respects.🙏🏻😊
In front of Prang Ku, there is a well that the locals believe is a sacred well. It is said that if anyone drinks water from here, they will have good luck. (But you may have to drink your heart out😂)

Prang Ku or Prasat Nong Ku
#summerdream
Prang Ku or Prasat Nong Ku in Tha Wachi District of this province is an ancient Khmer-style site, which is believed to have served as a hospital and a religious site. It is assumed that it was built during the reign of King Jayavarman VII, who restored the great Angkor Thom and built the amazing Bayon Temple in Cambodia. Although Prang Ku has deteriorated over time, there are still many antiques on display for viewing. Some of them have been put on display at the Roi Et Museum. Inside, there is a Buddha statue for you to stop by and pray to. I guarantee that you will not miss the concept of traveling in a spiritual way.
