Until you reach a platform where you can see windmills and park, you can choose to stop here, and if there are not many cars, you can drive a little further up. Abalone, mantis shrimp, oysters, razor clams Accommodation in Qida Village Dinghai Bay Ruolin Hotel There are few hotels near Qida Village, we chose a nearby star-rated sea view hotel (it has floor-to-ceiling windows + sea view room, wake up in the morning and open the curtains to see the sunrise. Just a few dozen meters downstairs is the beach, very quiet and comfortable. The hotel has a seafood restaurant, the prices are very reasonable, you can go with confidence!

You can drive up to the Flag Peak of Lianjiang County, just a section of the road is quite narrow, be careful. The space on the top of the mountain is limited, the scenery is beautiful but the wind is strong, be careful in your actions.

My restless heart, briefly quenched by the crowded scenes of the Spring Festival, was reignited after the peak of the return journey... So I packed my bags for a short off-peak trip to the long-desired 'Rio de Janeiro of Fujian' in Lianjiang Qida Village's flag-crowned peak. Since I was traveling alone, I didn't opt for a self-drive (which would be more convenient and fun with more people), but instead relied on rides and walking for the entire journey. 🚗 Round-trip transportation: 1. Fuzhou⬌Lianjiang: High-speed train🚄 2. Lianjiang Station⬌Lianjiang Bus Station: Taxi🚕or bus🚌 3. Lianjiang Bus Station⬌Flag-crowned Peak: Hitch a ride🚙 📍The bus from Lianjiang Bus Station to Qida (Flag-crowned Peak) runs from 7:30 to 17:30 (about 1 hour per bus, see P11). After arriving at Lianjiang Bus Station, there's no need to buy a ticket at the ticket window or vending machine; just go through security to the Qida ticket gate and tell the staff you're going to Qida. They will lead you to the parking lot entrance to board a 9-seater business van (see P12, the staff mentioned this van can't enter the station). Scan the QR code to pay 20 yuan, and tell the driver you're going to the Flag-crowned Peak. He will ask you to get off at the entrance of Qida Village and walk straight for 100 meters to the Flag-crowned Peak hiking entrance (the large rock with 'Flag-crowned Peak' written on it at P10 is the starting point). For the return trip, you can call the driver to pick you up at the original drop-off point (village entrance), or walk to the pick-up point in Qida Village (see P13, navigate to Jinhaiyuan Taxi). ⛰ Ascending the peak: After getting off the bus, someone asked if I wanted a ride up the mountain. Two girls who got off with me chose to take the ride (though they still had to walk a bit after the car reached halfway up the mountain), but I wanted to challenge the 1,800 steps, so I didn't join them. I must say, those 1,800 steps were not easy to climb. I had to stop and catch my breath frequently, and it took me almost 50 minutes to reach the first peak (where many wish cards are hung), and then another 20 minutes to reach the highest peak (where the national flag is hung). ⚠️The first peak offers better photo opportunities than the highest peak, especially when standing on the outermost rock imitating the Christ the Redeemer statue overlooking the neighboring fishing village. It indeed makes for a great photo. However, it's also quite dangerous, as the rock is beyond the railing. I suggest not to attempt it lightly (I didn't climb out to take photos either; I only took photos of others).

Fuzhou - Flag Crown Peak - Qida Village ❇️ Take a ride in the morning (almost 150) directly to the Flag Crown Peak (the journey is almost 2 hours), due to traffic control, you can only walk up from the bottom of the mountain Note: Normally it takes 1 hour to reach the top, the official information is 1800 steps, but you can go up according to your own physical strength 1️⃣ Lightly equipped for climbing, it is recommended to bring your own trekking poles, as it is easy to injure your knees when descending (the descent takes about 40 minutes) 2️⃣ You can replenish some food and water before climbing, or you can buy them on the way up, less than 10💰 3️⃣ The wind is very strong, it is recommended not to wear short skirts; it is very sunny on clear days, pay attention to sun protection; wear anti-slip and lightweight shoes, there are many sloped large rocks on the top ❇️ After descending the mountain, when you see the sign for the restroom, you can walk into Qida Village, where there is an observation deck, and further inside you can see Dahuyu with many ⛵, there is not much to eat in the village, there is a larger supermarket, inside there is a Hao Zailai Noodle Restaurant, many people go there to eat, the taste is okay, and the price is cheap, the seafood is quite fresh, but the sanitary condition in the store is limited, there are many flies (objectively speaking: after all, it is a village that the government doesn't manage much, there is a lot of garbage by the sea near the village, and the toilets are outrageously dirty) ❇️ Return trip: It's best to catch a ride, if not, go to the nearby parking lot to wait for the bus (to Lianjiang Bus Station, normally 15💰, but the ticket seller may ask for 20💰 during the National Day period, and the time is not fixed), then take the high-speed train - Fuzhou (12💰)
