PHOEBE WHITAKER
In Yangzhou, there is a healing old house B&B worth staying at
This time in Yangzhou, I have been staying at this ancient building renovated B&B,
very suitable for the slow life of Yangzhou,
in the morning, slowly enjoy a rich morning tea,
in the afternoon, go out for a stroll,
and when you come back, you can have a coffee☕ afternoon tea,
rest a bit before going out for a walk again~
The key point is, the transportation here is very convenient,
right across the street is Pishi Street, no worries about eating and drinking,
although it is in the Dongguan Street historical district, it is quiet amidst the hustle and bustle, completely unaffected by the tourist crowds~

🔍'About Bingou Pavilion'
"Bingou Pavilion" was originally a huge mansion bought in Yangzhou by Zhang Bingyan, the prefect of Lianzhou in Guangdong during the Qing Dynasty, named for its elegant connotation of 'Bingou'. Although it changed hands several times later, the elegant meaning has always remained. The architectural features of the Hui style blend seamlessly into the city of Yangzhou, simple yet exquisite.
🔆'B&B Highlights'
✔️Convenient transportation, located at Dongquan Gate, on the periphery of Dongguan Street historical district, with a bus stop right outside the door, and Pishi Street is just across the street, making it the central location for the entire Yangzhou trip.
✔️Eat, drink, and take photos all in one place, the B&B has a coffee shop☕, tea room🍵, and restaurant. Besides the beautiful environment, it's no exaggeration to say, the taste is also very professional! Green bricks and black tiles, deep courtyards, very photogenic!
🛌'Accommodation Experience'
The B&B is a courtyard-style layout, with a total of 9 courtyards, 26 rooms.
We stayed in a Loft family room, with a large bed on each of the two floors, accommodating 3 people. What I really liked was the high ceiling of the house, which made it very comfortable to live in. The interior is minimalist style, with wood grain flooring, monochrome walls, original wooden columns, and furniture.
✔️Air conditioning✔️Refrigerator (inside drinks can be enjoyed for free)✔️Kettle✔️Tea set✔️VOSS drinking water✔️Electric mosquito repellent✔️Australian Appelles bath set✔️Smart toilet
📌Additionally, you can ask the front desk for earplugs and steam eye masks~
🍜'Morning Tea'
Yangzhou has the custom of having morning tea, which can be solved at the B&B. The garden restaurant has a beautiful window view, and enjoying morning tea is a pleasure~ There is usually a fixed set menu, but if you have other needs, you can also order a la carte, such as crab roe soup buns, etc...
🍵Reference menu:
Green Yang Spring Tea, Yangzhou pickles, cold dish platter, blanched shredded dry tofu, fruit platter, San Ding bun, Yang grass bun, thousand-layer cake, shrimp roe wontons

If you don't visit Yangzhou in March, you'll regret it, babies
"Attractions Guide" Xiaojie Street
At the end of the alley, you can check in at the "Siwang Pavilion" building, where the short alley encapsulates the ordinary life of the locals.
Dongguan Street
A very representative historical old street in Yangzhou, with lanterns hanging from the eaves of old buildings along the road, full of New Year's atmosphere, it is a great place for a city stroll. Ge Garden
I personally think it's more worth visiting than He Garden~ The exquisite garden and rockery are very typical of Chinese elegance. Pishi Street
There are many interesting creative shops, as well as a big "Yangzhou" sign, which is very suitable for taking photos.
Er Fen Ming Yue Lou
A free garden hidden in the alley, not very big and with few people, but still encapsulates the poetic and picturesque charm of the gardens in the south of the Yangtze River.
Grand Canal Museum
No ticket is required, but you need to make a reservation in advance.
"About Accommodation"
This time I came to Yangzhou to better experience the market life of this small town, so I deliberately stayed at the reconstructed Bingyuan Pavilion Cultural Resort Hotel on Dongguan Street~ In a century-old salt merchant's residence, through the understanding of the aesthetics of life, it has been upgraded and transformed, but you can feel a different kind of relaxation and tranquility. Sitting in the tea room in the garden landscape and chatting and tasting tea in the afternoon really feels like the right way to open a trip to Yangzhou!

🏨 Name: Reconstructed Bingou Pavilion Cultural Resort B&B (Yangzhou Dongguan Street Store)
This old house B&B in Yangzhou is just too comfortable! Every spring, I have to go to Yangzhou, and after staying in more than a dozen B&Bs, I'm not lying!! My favorite is this one, right out the door is Dongguan Street and Geyuan Garden, it's just too convenient.
☆ What are the nearby attractions?
You can check in at Dongguan Street anytime, just 200m through the small alley. The popular attractions Pishi, Heyuan, and Geyuan are just a ten-minute ride on a small yellow bike, and right outside you can taste the local cuisine and Bi Xiangju.
☆ A modern garden transformed from an old Qing Dynasty house
A combination of classical Chinese and modern aesthetics. From the moment you step through the gate, it's a series of surprises, with garden landscapes and quaint buildings, literally a view at every step 👍🏻
☆ Chinese-style serene rooms are super comfortable to stay in
Clean and tidy, with complete facilities, every detail is carefully designed. Voss mineral water, Appelles toiletries, Husky mini fridge, etc., all make one feel warm and comfortable.
☆ Special mention to the B&B's tea room
Located in the innermost part, the tea garden in the misty rain, amidst the quiet wood and flowing water, turns ordinary days into prose poetry, enjoying the slow life of Yangzhou city.
☆ Exclusive private butler
Before even checking in, there's advance notice about the approximate taxi fare and the route to the hotel, which is very considerate for sisters visiting for the first time. The butler accompanies you throughout the stay, ready to meet any request
