Riva Vista Riverfront Resort Chiang Rai is a relatively new resort - less than a year old. Being located on the banks of Kok River, it is tucked away from the more bustling 'downtown' of Chiang Rai. The upside is it's within walking distance to the Blue Temple and getting a "Grab" transportation to other parts of Chiang Rai has been easy for us. As for the room, the beds are firm yet comfortable. The main highlight for us was the toilet, where it comes with a bathtub that has a wonderful view of nature. Gym equipment is well maintained and has a good balance of cardio and resistance exercises to offer. Breakfast spread was good but do be watch your sitting posture because the back of the seat is movable. Other than that, it's a delightful riverine dining experience.
