Sakuragi Shrine in Noda City, Chiba Prefecture
𓂃◌𓈒𓐍 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃
This shrine is said to be the oldest in Noda City.
In 851, Lord Tsuguyoshi, a descendant of Fujiwara Kamatari, lived in this area with a large cherry tree.
It is said that the shrine began when Kuranokami and Takemikazuchi were enshrined under the tree.
The former Sakuradai Village was a beautiful village where cherry blossoms bloom, and the cherry blossoms in the shrine grounds are still truly beautiful.
In particular, it is said that cherry blossoms bloom at Sakuragi Shrine even in seasons other than spring.
And on the 1st of every month, they distribute "Tsuitachi Hyakuka".
A set of seasonal sweets, goshuin, and fortune-telling slips.
The "Sakura Kinton" sweets are filled with smooth cherry blossom bean paste, kinton, and crunchy bean paste.
It's a Japanese sweet that makes you feel like spring is here!
In the shrine grounds, the "Miharu Kozakura" near the parking lot is in full bloom🌸
The "Princess Miyabi Sakura" with its deep pink petals is also in full bloom, so many people stop to look around!
This is a shrine⛩ that you should visit when the cherry blossoms are at their peak.
