Seljalandsfoss: Iceland's Summer Must-See Waterfall! 🇮🇸💦
#summervacay
A summer trip to Iceland isn't complete without visiting Seljalandsfoss waterfall! This 60-meter-high "giant showerhead" won't just get you soaking wet from every angle; it'll also help you capture National Geographic-worthy photos. As a self-proclaimed lazy person, I can confirm: getting drenched here is totally worth it! Here's my guide to its hidden gems and a fuss-free group tour tip. Just copy and go!
Seljalandsfoss: Iceland's "Water Curtain Cave" 🐒💧
Unlike other waterfalls you can only admire from afar, this one you can walk behind! That's right, you can literally go around to the back of the waterfall and feel like Sun Wukong (the Monkey King) in his Water Curtain Cave. (But seriously, don't make my mistake and wear jeans; you'll instantly become a "human humidifier"!).
My Favorite Photo Spots:
Behind the Waterfall: With the curtain of water as your backdrop, your photos will be legendary on social media!
The Small Bridge Viewpoint: Pretend you're elegantly strolling across, while secretly your feet are doing a frantic dance to avoid slipping (Elegance, never goes out of style.jpg).
Sunset Hour: The magic combination of sunlight and water mist creates a direct rainbow in your face – absolutely stunning!
Local Secret: Gljúfrabúi Waterfall 🤫🏞️
Just a 10-minute walk from the main waterfall, there's a secret waterfall hidden behind a rock face called Gljúfrabúi! This is definitely a spot locals know about. Don't miss this hidden gem if you're already at Seljalandsfoss!
