Floor distribution is clear, and public area circulation is smooth, making movement from the lobby to rooms and leisure areas effortless. 🧹 Soundproofing/Cleanliness: Excellent soundproofing in the rooms ensures minimal outside disturbance. Attention to cleanliness is meticulous, with both guest rooms and public areas maintained spotlessly, reflecting high standards in every detail. 💗 Extra Tips: Must-try highlight: the delightful Happy Hour light meals! Fresh and flavorful seafood like crab and razor clams, perfectly stir-fried pork with garlic stems, and a variety of refreshing cold dishes—such as braised wheat gluten, tofu skin salad, and assorted vegetables—plus specialty fruits like sweet-and-sour hawthorns. It stands out as a top-tier lounge option among similar hotels in Shanghai. The pool area is spacious, locker rooms are tidy, and lifeguards remain vigilant, ensuring safety. Compared to my previous stay at JW Marriott Tomorrow Square, Sheraton Fengxian offers a more pleasantly surprising overall experience. Just as hotel quality evolves over time, stays during different periods naturally vary—like the changes in dining and room rates at Yangpu Riverside Marriott since its opening. Experiences differ person to person; variations in upgrade expectations and service perceptions are normal, and mutual understanding leads to more comfortable stays. With challenges across industries, hotels must balance quality and value carefully. Sheraton Fengxian, with its fresh appeal, excellent dining, and attentive service, is a highly recommended choice—especially for guests who value lounge experiences and overall value for money.

Sheraton Shanghai Fengxian | A Resilient Choice in a Grand Era I recently stayed at the Sheraton Shanghai Fengxian for two nights, and it was truly a mixed experience. I'd like to share my thoughts with you. Basic Information 📍Address: No. 228, Lane 3111, Nanfeng Highway, Qingcun Town, Fengxian District 🏨Renovation Date: Opened in 2019. The hotel is very new overall, and the facilities are in good condition. Check-in Experience Check-in Process When I first arrived, I noticed there wasn't a separate concierge desk in the traditional sense. However, the doorman was very welcoming and offered to open the door and take my luggage. After dragging two large suitcases upstairs, I had to return the luggage cart myself. This was a slight inconvenience on the first day, but considering the hotel's other services, it was a minor issue. Room Details 🛏️Room Type/Layout: I booked a king-size bed room and was luckily upgraded to an Executive Deluxe King Corner Room on the 12th floor. The room was spacious at 55 square meters and had a well-designed layout. There was a comfortable sofa for relaxing and separate bathtub and shower facilities to meet different needs. The overall layout felt both cozy and grand. 🛌Amenities/Facilities: The room was equipped with modern technology. Although the curtains were manual, it didn't detract from the overall experience. The bedding was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The room's facilities were complete and new, and the quality was evident in everything from the lighting to the appliances. Dining Experience 🧑🏻‍🍳Dining: The evening Executive Lounge and breakfast were both on the 1st floor. Dinner was served from 5:30 to 7:30 pm, and breakfast from 6 to 10 am. The Executive Lounge was beautifully decorated with an elegant ambiance and even featured a live kitchen feed, allowing guests to see the hygienic conditions of the kitchen, providing peace of mind. The staff was friendly, especially the barista, who enthusiastically helped prepare drinks. However, the speed of clearing plates during the meal could be improved. The food quality was consistent, and the variety was extensive, including high-protein options, soups, dumplings, desserts, and more, catering to different tastes. Hotel Facilities 🏊‍♂️Facilities: The gym was well-equipped with plenty of towels and drinking water for guests' convenience. The swimming pool was large and bright, making for a pleasant swim. The hotel also thoughtfully provided a kids' activity area, with both indoor and outdoor facilities suitable for children, ensuring a fun experience for families on vacation. Other Observations 🧹Soundproofing/Cleanliness: The room's soundproofing was excellent, effectively blocking out external noise during rest. The cleanliness was also outstanding, with both public areas and the room itself spotlessly clean. 💗Other Tips: The hotel's overall business-style exterior was very upscale and blended perfectly with the surrounding commercial area. The nighttime lighting, especially during a light rain, created a wonderful atmosphere for a stroll around the area. The hotel strives to balance cost and service, and while there have been some minor adjustments, its positive and proactive attitude is evident. It's like a resilient individual in a grand era, never giving up, never slacking off – a truly inspiring spirit. Summary 🏠Location: The hotel is located in Fengxian District, which is relatively remote with limited nearby attractions. Unless you're on a business trip or have specific plans, it might not be worth making a special trip to stay here. 🌟Overall Rating: 7/10. The overall facilities and room conditions were excellent. The rooms were large, new, and well-equipped. However, the location is remote, and there's room for improvement in the lounge and breakfast offerings. If I'm ever on a business trip in this area again, I would still choose to stay here.

Enjoy Huaiyang cuisine at Yu Chinese Restaurant and its elegant private dining rooms, or experience interactive cooking and buffet breakfast at S Kitchen Western Restaurant. Previously, the price felt quite high, but recently I often see 5k points redemption (with a 1k points rebate for Sheraton stays), even including weekends, which is really a great deal. If two people and a child stay, the cost of an afternoon tea, dinner, and breakfast in the lounge will definitely be worth it. If it's a holiday, you can also consider staying four nights and getting one free, which is really the cheapest Sheraton points redemption hotel I've ever seen. 🚗 The hotel is very close to the local Qingxi Ancient Town, within walking distance, making it suitable for a weekend getaway from downtown Shanghai.

Every time I go to the Qingxi Ancient Town with a history of more than 1,400 years, I will stay at the Shanghai Baohua Sheraton Hotel for a night.
