Torikizoku, a restaurant featuring a uniform price of $100 per dish, had only two or three tables occupied during weekday lunch hours. The dining environment was quite pleasant, and seating was arranged with tablet-based ordering. The staff were very friendly, and since the dishes are made to order, there is a bit of a wait.
The yam paste teppanyaki arrived hot, with crispy-looking edges. However, the texture wasn’t actually crispy, but the overall flavor was good.
The salt-grilled chicken skewer is also a great choice for pairing with drinks. The slightly salty chicken skewer was quite impressive.
The noble grilled chicken thigh skewer, ordered with a sauce flavor, was more intense compared to the others. The chicken was grilled to be tender and juicy—highly recommended.
The beef fried skewer was just average. The beef was too chewy, and the batter didn’t have a great texture, leaving a slightly greasy feeling.
