Sinan Road and Sinan Mansion in Shanghai must be very popular areas. The romantic sycamore trees in European-style buildings and the combination of Chinese and Western styles make this place particularly romantic💕 There are many Western restaurants, exhibitions and Sinan Coffee in Sinan Mansion. Friends can go there for a stroll on weekends. It's very comfortable.

Another of Shanghai’s special coffee shops is this Starbucks located in Sinan Mansions, Xintiandi area. Sinan Mansions are a remodeled houses complex dating from the French concession in Shanghai. Sinan Mansions are considered part of city’s cultural heritage, and now is a beautiful complex with shops, restaurants, bars and resting areas. Building is beautiful during the day and night. Ambiance is calm, perfect place for working or just relaxing. This cafe has also a second floor with a gorgeous view (during the day), where you can admire the Sinan Mansions complex while you sip your coffee. Even for a moment, you get your mood easily changed. Place was empty by 9pm, but remains open if you’re suddenly craving for a coffee or a ice soft drink while you enjoy Sinan Masions area. It is quite an accidental discovery of this coffee shop around Sinan mansions that we got attracted by the flowers and little bonsai plants🌾, where we get to see miniature version of all huge trees and plants. Going inside the place, we found they have a coffee shop there; and without any second thought we grabbed one that come with this cute little cup 🍵 a perfectly whipped cream of milk latte. It is quite funny about these newly emerging cafes, that it is perplexing whether we are paying for the coffee or for the ambience😅. It was quite a soothing time in there. In the last few nights in Shanghai, I chose the old house in the garden near the Sinan Mansion the old house in the alley. It has a taste, and the small space is built into a duplex Shanghai style. The boss named the hotel. Sea Flower does have a sense of charm in the small garden outside the window. A few days ago I visited a flower exhibition in Pudong, and with the recent nice weather, I quickly went to check out Sinan Mansions as well. At the entrance of Sinan Mansions, there's a beautifully designed floral arrangement of a little girl dancing ballet. It rotates with the music, attracting many locals and tourists to take photos. Transportation: The sleeper train arrives early in the morning, around 6 a.m., and I can take the subway directly to where I want to go. The subway is very convenient, but sometimes it's a long walk from the entrance/exit to the platform. It really is Shanghai! If you're too tired to walk, you can take a taxi and enjoy the city scenery along the way. What to do: Saturday: Since I arrived early, my first stop was the Bund. I took the subway and walked along East Nanjing Road. Many elderly people were exercising in the morning on the Bund. The second stop was the Waibaidu Bridge, where Yi Ping jumped off the bridge in the TV series "Romance in the Rain". The third stop was the Zhapu Road Bridge. The fourth stop was the Shanghai Postal Museum (exterior). The fifth stop was the Shanghai Museum (People's Square) to see the Egyptian cultural relics exhibition. The sixth stop was the Xujiahui Cathedral in Xuhui District. It's open from Tuesday to Saturday, but it closes early sometimes, so you need to check in advance if you want to go. We didn't go inside because there was an event on the 8th. The seventh stop was the Site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China, which we took a taxi to. For dinner, we were too tired, so we ordered takeout at the hotel. I don't remember which restaurant it was, but the noodles with toppings were delicious. On Sunday, before returning, we had to eat Dahuchun shengjian. I had it once last year and loved it. The dough was sweet, and the fried buns were filled with lots of ingredients.
