King Naresuan the Great Shrine, Nong Bua Lamphu Province
King Naresuan the Great Shrine, Nong Bua Lamphu
It was built as a memorial when King Naresuan the Great led his army to Nong Bua Lamphu in 2117 to help the King of Hongsawadi at Sri Satta Nakhanahut (Vientiane). At that time, Thailand was a vassal state of Hongsawadi. However, King Naresuan was ill, so the King of Hongsawadi ordered his army to return to Ayutthaya. The place is located in the public park along Nong Bua, in front of the city hall. It is an activity area for exercising and various activities. The atmosphere is very good, shady, and cool. #Places to visit in Nong Bua Lamphu #Nong Bua Lamphu #Travel in Isan
