Today I had the chance to stop by and try some coffee at a shop. It was a shop that I often drove past, but I never thought it was a cafe. I always thought it was a housing estate. Today I had the chance to find a good coffee shop while driving back from Pa Daet District to Mueang District. I looked at the review and found this name, which had a picture of a cafe with a nice atmosphere, "Something Journey". I drove following the GPS until I realized that "Oh, I always thought it was a housing estate". When I got to the shop and saw the menu and prices, I was a little shocked. The prices were quite expensive. For example, an iced Americano (my favorite menu) starts at 100 baht. If you want a light roast, it's an additional 50 baht (I was a little surprised by the price). So I ordered a medium roast. While waiting, I wondered what the coffee would taste like. Was the price expensive just because of the decoration? It turned out that... the coffee was very good. It was worth the price. Normally, I only drink light roast. I don't really like medium-dark roast. I was still impressed by this shop's medium roast. It has a chocolate, caramel, floral, and berry aroma. When I sip it, it has a good body... solid, not sour. But it still has a fresh, bright, and slightly frilly feel like a light roast. Okay, the coffee is good and worth the price. Too bad I rushed back to work and didn't have time to take pictures of the surrounding atmosphere.

Food is quite a variety with, again, thoughtful design. It gives the feeling of having Bangkok food in nature. Weekday seems to be more peaceful It is amazing to have such high quality fusion food found in an up-country location at Chang Rai, ‘Something Journey’. Love the tender BBQ ribs and freshly baked pizza. The salted egg croissant and the deserts are to die for. This gem is surrounded with vast green nature walk and turquoise pond where you can feed the Koi. Highly recommended and is dog friendly. I travelled from Singapore to visit this warm and cozy place that will linger-on for a long time Beautiful spot and atmosphere. Family friendly with serene surroundings. They have a large menu of western and Asian cuisine. We found the western food to be tastier. The service was excellent and the staff were helpful and friendly. I would definitely come back here to relax and soak in the views.
