Just flew out of Split Airport and I have to say—I really liked it. It’s a small airport, but that’s actually part of the charm. Easy to navigate, no endless walking, and everything felt surprisingly efficient.

🏖️Ambiance/Facilities: Cofee, shops, car rental...
Security didn’t take long, check-in was straightforward, and there were just enough shops and cafés to keep things pleasant without turning it into a shopping mall.
For a regional airport, the flight options are actually quite decent—lots of seasonal routes and solid connections. If you're traveling around the Dalmatian coast, Split is definitely a smart choice.

Split Airport
An impressive architectural feat in the Split Airport lobby. Nice to see an undulating engineered timber ceiling structure letting in lots of natural light and the warm tone it gives off to the atmosphere.

Croatia split was quite nice, the airport was clean but not many shops were open. The staff and people there were very friendly.

Split, Croatia
Lovely weather during the summer, certainly beats being in England. Great beaches and plenty to do with nice food available. We went to stalls for food and a lot of welcoming people willing to help at any time. Easy to travel round as beaches were walkable distances and interesting graffiti around the city. Fun activities available on the beach and not too expensive when we visited a few years ago
