It's relatively compact compared to Tokyo for a station in the capital. There's a tram running right in front of the station, so you can immediately encounter a European atmosphere. I personally found Finland's national railway VR interesting. The logo was so similar to JR that I couldn't help but take a photo. The best part of traveling is finding even the most unexpected things interesting! 😂 ② Main street near the central line (photos 1 and 4) A slightly larger street that appears when you leave the station and go to the right. There are trams running here as well, and the combination with the surrounding Western-style buildings creates a very stylish atmosphere. The first photo was taken at 8:30pm! The days are long in Scandinavia from May onwards, so you can enjoy sightseeing until the evening. It is in the Art Nouveau style, and it has a bit of a castle-like feel. Railway Square is right in front of the theater. I recommend buying a coffee at the cafe and relaxing. "Stockmann" is a popular department store that everyone will visit when traveling to Helsinki. In fact, the supermarket "Food Market Herkku" in the basement is amazing! ⭐️Review I came here on the last day, but this supermarket was so good that I regretted coming earlier. Not only is the quality of the fresh food good, but the selection of everything is amazing, including cheese, tea, sweets, butter, juice, alcohol, etc. It is listed as a high-end food store on Google Maps, but considering that it is inside a department store, the prices are not that high, and before I knew it, I had put a lot of ingredients in my basket. The deli section is also well-stocked, and if I had stayed another night, I would have made a day to eat deli food at the hotel. It is also recommended for solo travelers who find it difficult to go to restaurants.
