Average price: 3,000 yen Rating: ★★★ Monastery beer, which has been made using unique methods since ancient times to prevent epidemics and fund religious activities, can be found all over Europe, but Strahov Monastery brews and serves various styles of craft beer using new methods, which is very rare. We had an amber ale recommended by the staff and an IPA. The amber ale went very well with carp fritters, which are often eaten in South Bohemia, and was delicious. A destination for beer lovers and a tranquil experience for all. There are manicured gardens and a beautiful monastery to visit. I took an Uber to skip the walking tour from the Old Town – which worked well on my few trips in Prague. I had a delicious lunch at Klásterní, just to the left of the entrance. All dishes were elevated by colorful presentation and delicious ingredients. I had the Greek salad, beer onion soup and fried cheese. Everything is great. Of course, beer is the star of the show.
