Green Oasis: Discovering the Tranquil Beauty at Beitou Library
Strolling through Beitou Park, under the dappled shade of trees, the Beitou Library emerges like a green sanctuary hidden in the woods. This internationally acclaimed green building, with its wooden and glass exterior, exudes a harmonious blend of nature and culture in the morning light. Inside, soft light filters through large glass walls, illuminating the wooden floors and bookshelves, making time seem to flow more slowly. The air is filled with a faint scent of wood mingled with the aroma of books, creating a refreshing atmosphere. I ascended the stairs and chose a seat by a window overlooking lush greenery. The gentle sunlight fell on the pages of my book, adding a natural warmth to the words. The library's collection spans literature, art, and ecology, with a special section dedicated to the history and hot springs of Beitou, which is particularly captivating. Gazing out the window, the verdant scenery fills the view, occasionally stirred by a gentle breeze swaying the treetops. At Beitou Library, one can immerse in the world of books while also feeling the soothing embrace of nature. This is a literary oasis where culture and nature blend seamlessly, making it hard to leave.
