Umbrella Market on a rainy day
#100TravelTips Today I passed Samut Songkhram. Actually, at first I didn't know which sea it was. I can't tell the difference between 1. Samut Sakhon 2. Samut Songkhram 3. Samut Prakan 5555555 I mean, I was free, driving past this area, and then I remembered to try looking for places to visit around here. Then I found this market, the Umbrella Market. So I turned on the GPS.
Let me tell you, I used to feel indifferent about this place. Like when I saw it in the picture, I was like, "Oh, that's it?" "Hmm, that's it." But when I saw it with my own eyes, I felt amazing and excited.
When we arrived, while waiting, it started raining. But it's okay. There were umbrellas all the way. Until the train came, every shop had to close their umbrellas. We got wet. But no one else was afraid of the rain. Everyone was anxiously preparing to take pictures with the oncoming train... oh well, I'll just wait and see. 555555 When the train passed, the rain stopped. Oh my, oh well, it's fun in a different way.
I didn't see many Thais here. I saw more foreigners. There were many shops selling fresh food, snacks, and souvenirs around. But the price is a bit higher than outside but not too expensive.
This holiday, I would like to invite Thai friends to come and visit. I think that once you should stop by to visit and find some snacks to eat. You will definitely get some cool pictures to take back with you. And most importantly, it is not far from Bangkok.
*Train schedule
The train will pass through the market 8 times a day according to the following times: entering Mae Klong Station at 8:30, 11:10, 14:30, 17:40 and leaving Mae Klong Station at 6:20, 9:00, 11:30, 15:30.
But I recommend asking vendors in that area or going to the station first to check the schedule. What time is the next round? Because when I went, the time was not according to the schedule.
