When you come to Yong'an, you must be heading for the Taoyuan Cave Scenic Area, which is 10 kilometers north of Yong'an City. The scenic spot has a long history. As early as the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty (1573), it was opened as a tourist area with more than 10 pavilions and towers built. Taoyuan Cave is not a cave, but a mountain canyon. There is a peach blossom stream inside. In ancient times, there were hundreds of acres of peach trees, mountain streams and springs, as well as drifting peach blossoms on both sides of the bank, reflecting the beautiful scenery of red. Therefore, it was named "Taoyuan Cave". But it is no longer seen now. The most famous feature of the scenic spot is the "One Line Sky" which is 68 meters high and 127 meters long. The narrowest part is 0.4 meters, through which only one person can pass sideways. This is one of the wonders praised in Xu Xiake's travel notes and has been certified by the Guinness World Records. Visitors can also enjoy more than ten cultural attractions such as Suodong Bridge, Guanyin Bodhisattva Hall, Tongtian Pavilion, etc. When the Ming Dynasty rebel army was stationed there, they dug an ancient well on the rock. It still has spring water today, which is a miracle. Jishan Village, about 5 kilometers away from the city, was built in the 13th year of Hongzhi in the Ming Dynasty (1500). The floating bridge in the creek is also very unique. It is made up of several small wooden boats connected in series to facilitate villagers to travel between the two banks. 20 kilometers away from the urban area is the famous Gongchuan Ancient Town, where traces of human activities were found as early as the Early Paleolithic Period. It is said to be one of the top ten ancient towns in Fujian Province. Arriving at the ancient town is surprising. Such an ancient town with a thousand-year history has been renovated into a stereotyped pattern in the so-called new rural construction. The developers are truly sinners for all time. Some historical sites that have escaped the net are now protected, such as the ancient city wall, Huiqing Bridge, Zhengshun Temple, Linshui Palace, and Sunbang Gong Inn. The construction date of Huiqing Bridge is unknown, but it can be traced back to 1485 AD. It has two piers and three arches. The bridge is 41 meters long, 7 meters wide, and 8.1 meters high. The bridge body is built with Danxia stone into an arch shape, and the maximum span of a single arch is 13 meters. There are 11 wooden corridors on the bridge deck, consisting of 56 wooden pillars. It is also called the "Wind and Rain Bridge" because it can shelter from wind and rain. Sanming is a heavy industrial city in Fujian. Qilin Mountain Park is located next to Liedong Bridge in Sanming. It was originally named Niulong Mountain and has an altitude of 262 meters. Qilin Pavilion is built at the highest point of the mountain. It is 24.5 meters high, 12 meters wide, octagonal and has six floors. It is made of reinforced concrete. You can take in the scenery from both near and far when you climb up the pavilion. Next to the Qilin Pavilion, a Qilin sculpture stands with its head held high, looking very majestic. Sangang was founded in 1958 and is currently the largest steel production base and fertilizer production base in Fujian Province.
