#londontrip This is a very tall and majestic monument located in Hyde Park. We were just enjoying our walk in the park when we saw a golden statue from afar so we decided to have a closer look. It is just grand. If you want peace and quiet with a grans view then this part of Hyde park in the perfect spot for you. We spent our time to go around the monument to appreciate the intricate details of it. Queen Victorua commissioned this monument in memory of her beloved husband. It took 7 years to complete the construction of this magnificent monument. Make sure you come here on a sunny day to see this monument shine in its full glory. #londontrip One of the most beautiful architectures ever built during Queen Victoria.. I was able to visit 4 of them but I believe there are more of them including some parts of Buckingham Palace. I must say that the details of the the design of these buildings are very intricate which makes them incredible. 1. The Royal Albert Hall - This is located just right in front of The Albert Memorial in Hyde Park. It is used as a concer hall nowadays 2. The Palace of Westminster - This is also known as the houses of parliament which is on no doubt one of the most stunning buildings in London. It lies by the River Thames which is nearby Westminster Abbey and London Eye. 3. Tower Bridge - This is London's defining landmark. You must see this when you first visit London. It stands over the river of Thames which is just the same area as London Eye and Westminster Palace. 4. The Albert Memorial- It is located in Hyde Park which is opposite to The Royal Albert Hall. The Prince Albert Memorial is a magnificent monument in Kensington Gardens, a monument to Queen Victoria's endless love for her husband. Made in the Neo-Gothic and richly decorated with sculptures, the monument is a reminder of the life and work of the Prince Consort. The main attraction of the memorial is the frieze of Parnassus, which depicts 169 famous cultural figures from Antiquity to the Renaissance.
