The annual Double Eleven is coming soon, and it's time to stock up on northbound discount packages. Many are just ten or eight yuan, including food, accommodation, and even beauty treatments. Let's take a look at my haul from last year (it's not hard to grab these deals because they're not expensive even on regular days). Very satisfied, the shop is run by Hong Kong people, all equipment is officially certified, and it's a one-time payment with no upselling (see picture 6). Hotel - There is also a high-value-for-money hotel in Houhai called 'Shenzhen Cotton Tree Hotel'. The decor is super beautiful, right above the beauty salon, but I didn't stay there that day. On regular days, it costs around ¥400 per person (see picture 1). Food and Restaurants - Vegetarian buffet, there are many super cheap vegetarian restaurants in Shenzhen, some are even free (the owners want to accumulate good karma). That day, I went to *Wei Mei Su at Cuizhu Station, the decor is comfortable, mostly booth seats, high privacy, and feels clean and hygienic. ¥22 (see pictures 3 and 4). If you don't stay at the hotel, the average cost per person is ¥97.

Overall feeling The hotel is in a great location, and a taxi from Shenzhen Bay is only less than $20. Ethan in the lobby was very friendly and upgraded us to the 19th floor. The room is nice and comfortable, with avant-garde decoration and the toilet is like the Rosewood Hotel in Hong Kong, with a very high CP value. Come again when you have the chance. Comparison with other Kapok stores in Shenzhen The styles of Houhai Kapok and Shenzhen Bay are completely different. Whether it is the hotel rooms, the lobby book bar or the coffee shop, the visuals are diverse. Check-in area The hotel lobby is in the style of a bookstore with huge ceiling lights. It feels very design-oriented as soon as you enter the door, but you cannot open the books to buy them. There are different designs on each floor, so it is recommended to go around and take a look. The room is super big and the view is also great. The bathroom and toilet are separated. There is a bathtub and the bathroom has a floor-to-ceiling window with a view for the first time. There are also electric curtains to prevent privacy from being seen. During the season when kapok flowers bloom in the south, I came to Shekou Port in Shenzhen to take a cruise to Vietnam, so I chose to stay at the Kapok Hotel in Houhai, Nanshan District. The Kapok Hotel brand has always been a favorite among hotel enthusiasts. The Kapok Hotel Shenzhen Houhai was designed by master designer Tony Chi (whom I was fortunate to meet in Shanghai). The famous book bar cafe on the first floor is particularly well-known worldwide. As a high-end hotel hidden in the city, it offers an artistic atmosphere filled with the fragrance of books, while providing a peaceful escape from the urban bustle. I absolutely love it! I checked in to a cityview bathtub suite with strong fashion elements. In the tranquil smoky blue decor, a touch of kapok red dazzled both my eyes and heart. Pleasant fragrances permeate the air... High-quality bedding and sleeping space, wooden floors and black and white tiles, complete set of Jo Malone toiletries, aged Pu'er tea - everything in the room creates comfort and contentment. The Kapok Pavilion Restaurant on the third floor offers a sumptuous breakfast buffet and local Chinese lunch. I want to strongly recommend the Kapok Hotel in Shenzhen, which is comfortable, warm and photogenic! Every corner here exudes a strong sense of warmth. The design is industrial style, but it does not lack literary temperament. The lobby is a combination of a bookstore and a coffee shop. The room provides free tea bags and coffee, four bottles of mineral water, as well as shampoo and conditioner, and a shoe polishing cloth. There is a bathtub for bathing, but there is no disposable bathtub cover. The pillows are very good, so it does not affect sleep. I have been to Shenzhen five or six times, and I have stayed at the Kapok twice. It is indeed a very good hotel, with high cost performance and worth recommending.

Because I had to do something in Nanshan, I hastily booked a seaside hotel in Nanshan. I was originally indifferent to the Kapok brand, but I didn't expect it to surprise me! The reason for the recommendation is the room day The sea view room I stayed in overlooks the sea, directly facing the MixC of Shenzhen Bay. The room price is 1300 yuan. Although I didn't look at other hotels, I think this view is worth it. It's refreshing~ Bathtub Soaking in the large bathtub and looking at the sea and the iconic spring bamboo shoots of Nanshan, I do feel a bit of comfort.
