Whether it's the lobby's gold bricks, the same style as the Forbidden City, the guest rooms' "private" view of Jing'an Temple, or the location in the heart of Jing'an Temple's business district and the ability to reach Jufuchang Station on foot, or the quiet swimming pool and hot spring pool facing Jing'an Park, similar to Tokyo's Aman. I personally feel that it is the king of Shanghai citywalk + staycation 🫅 Service, location, interior, and swimming pool are all close to full marks💯 💁Service: Whether it is the warm and thoughtful concierge, the professional and warm front desk or the enthusiastic housekeeper, they all provide excellent service. I personally feel that it has reached the level of Four Seasons. It should be the top-notch service in hotels of this price range in Shanghai. 📍Location: Opposite to Reo and Kerry Center, Jing'an Temple subway station is downstairs, and you can walk to the Jufu Cheung Wo Huanmao and Bashi Deban. The walking range basically covers 60% of the places we must visit in Shanghai. This location is really impeccable 🧱Interior: The hotel opened in 2009, and Jaya's classic design is still unique today. The cost-free initial investment and excellent subsequent maintenance not only make the 15-year-old hotel look youthful, but also give it a more solid and stable positioning. I have a select group of friends that have been to this hotel and highly recommend it. After hear my 5th friend talk about it, I decided to check it out. The Puli Hotel is the closest I’ve gotten to a real Hotel and Spa. Entering seems more like entering a spa than a Hotel. They really emphasise the tranquility. The architecture is amazing and makes you feel like your at ease. The food is amazing. Their restaurant is a 1 Michelin star eatery. The dinner is amazing, and they also do a set lunch for around 200 rmb per person. A great way to check out a Michelin Star Restaurant on a budget. And last but not least the Spa. Amazing. Grand halls lead you to hot tubs, saunas and steam rooms. The pool is very luxurious that I felt bad splashing around so much. Located at heart of Shanghai near to Jingan temple, after so much good comments over these Italian-Australian 🍕🥘 cuisine we finally made some time to pay a visit to here. It is a perfect place for a romantic evening with their outdoor terrace nicely decorated. Inside seating also has dimly lit tables with only seeing your bright date's face 😋. My most frequented hotel in Shanghai. It's closest to my company, so if I work overtime until very late, I just stay there. The room facilities are a bit old, and the restaurant Phenix is average, but the cocktails at Long Bar are pretty good. I've stayed in both the Deluxe and Classic room types, and I think they all have a view of Jing'an Temple, just from slightly different angles. The suites are okay in terms of size, about 80-plus square meters, which is quite spacious. The location is great, and it's convenient to go anywhere. For someone like me who has a habit of burning incense, it's so convenient to just walk out the door along the road behind Reèl to Jing'an Temple, which takes a maximum of ten minutes. After burning incense, I go to Kerry Center to eat at O Mills, which is basically my daily morning routine. Thanks to Jing'an Park, the view from the gym and pool windows is excellent, and it really has the artistic concept of a great hermit hiding in the city. The spa is also worth a try. The hotel service isn't particularly attentive, but there are no major mistakes. Many of the staff are Shanghainese, and it's nice to hear them speak the Shanghai dialect. If the rooms could be renovated, the furniture repaired, and the dust wiped more carefully during cleaning, it would be my favorite hotel.
