Different from the high-rise buildings and hustle and bustle of Hong Kong Island, there is a seaside town with a slow pace at the southern end of Hong Kong. Here you can find white sandy beaches, dopamine-colored houses, and a sunny jelly sea that you can look at all day long without getting tired of. It only takes half an hour to take a bus from Central to here 📍This is Stanley. Stanley, a place that is both ancient and exotic. There are bars, restaurants and cafes along the blue coastline. Foreigners can be seen everywhere, as if you are in a European seaside town. Romantic and relaxing☀️No wonder this place is called Little Nanfa in Hong Kong. If you come to Hong Kong, you might as well take half a day to wander around here. If you like hiking, you can go up to the Magangshan Observation Deck to overlook the stunning scenery of Stanley Mountain and the sea. - Citywalk route: Stanley Plaza - Murray House - Blake Pier - Stanley Main Street - Stanley Promenade - Stanley Market - Stanley Main Beach - 🚌 - Majestic Hill Observation Deck 🚩Stanley Plaza: The viewing platform on the fourth floor overlooks the Stanley Bay 🚩Murray Building: Stanley's landmark building, a giant granite building that combines Chinese and foreign architectural features 🚩Bugong Pier: A very beautiful black iron pier. The original site was located in Central and was the first ferry terminal in Hong Kong. It was later restored in Stanley. It is very comfortable to watch the sea and feel the breeze here 🚩Stanley Main Street: On one side is a super beautiful coastline, and on the other side are semi-open-air bars, restaurants, and cafes. You can sit here to drink coffee and chat while enjoying the sea view. The trailhead is opposite the drop-off point. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the observation deck, and the entire walk is on stairs. The beautiful scenery is right behind you. It is recommended to walk all the way to the viewing platform and then walk back slowly. - Game suggestions: The recommended playing time is about 3-4 hours, which is enough for a leisurely walk and taking photos along the way It is recommended to come on a sunny day. I even saw a rainbow along the way! 🌈 Oh my god! What a fairy tale world this is! I didn’t expect that Magang Mountain could be so romantic during the day. Take bus 260 at Admiralty Station and get off at Stanley Gap Road Wilson Path. Climb up the stone steps. Although it is a ladder, each step is not high💯, and the zigzag design👍 makes the climb slow🥰. What's more, you can look back from time to time and sit down to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Stanley town from a high place🌷📸, which is pleasing to the eyes🌹🥰. Before you know it, you have reached the viewing platform📸. If you don’t want to continue climbing, you can return to the mountain along the same route. Be sure to take sun protection measures because there are bushes on both sides of the trail and no shade. If you want to challenge Magang Mountain, you have to keep going up😜. Magangshan is about 386 meters high and consists of two peaks of similar height (South Peak → North Peak). Be especially careful when going down the mountain from the North Peak. From Wong Nai Chung Reservoir, you can get off at Wong Nai Chung Reservoir Park Station and walk up Tai Tam Reservoir Road to join the Violet Mountain Trail. Although it's been the New Year, I still see the traces of the bell flower🌸☺️! After walking for about an hour, you will reach Zigang Bridge, you can take a break, because the stone steps on Zigangshan after that are endless steps👻, remember to preserve more stamina. There are nearly 1,000 stone steps up the mountain🥲, but the way down is accompanied by the beautiful scenery of Stanley Peninsula😍, very worth it! Walking from Mount Butler to Stanley, you absolutely cannot miss The Twins. The seemingly endless staircase that goes all the way up (approximately 1200+ steps) may feel exhausting and even a bit hopeless during the climb. However, once you finish the stairs and see the stunning sea view, you'll realize that enduring a tough journey is worth it. Feeling the sea breeze and leisurely walking down to Stanley is truly an amazing experience.

Walking along the hiking trail, you will see lush vegetation, singing birds and fragrant flowers. Although the trail is somewhat difficult, every step of the climb is full of challenges and fun. Along the way, you can also encounter various wild animals, adding fun to the journey. When you reach the top of the mountain, the unparalleled sea view will unfold before your eyes. The azure sea merges into the sky, dolphins leap on the sparkling sea, and sailboats float gently in the distance. The sea breeze blows on your face, blowing away your fatigue. 🏝️Stanley is definitely one of my favorite check-in spots in Hong Kong during my four years. When the weather is good, it really feels like a small town in the south of France. Not only can you take a stroll along the beach to rest and drink afternoon tea leisurely, but you can also check in and take photos to create great photos! Here is a super check-in guide I have summarized after three visits to Stanley: 👗Clothing: Stanley’s overall architecture is European-style, with some colorful graffiti walls, so it is recommended to either wear solid white or beige to create a contrast, or wear some bright colors to complement it, both of which will look great in photos. 🚌Transportation: Get off at Hong Kong Station on the Island Line. There is a bus terminal under the building, or get off at Admiralty C1 and take Bus 6 or 6X to Stanley Plaza directly. 📸Travel routes and check-in points: The route I personally recommend most is: Stanley Plaza → Murray House → Stanley Blake Pier → Stanley Main Street → Stanley Market → Stanley Back Beach. Locations that are good for taking photos include the Murray Building: it is an overall European-style building, which is very photogenic; the pier: when the sun is good, you can take good photos of the sea, and you can also take photos of light and shadow; Stanley Main Street: the pink house and the yellow house are both good for taking photos; Stanley Back Beach: you can take photos on the beach. If you have enough time, you can also go to Mount Ma Kong, where you can overlook the entire Stanley. ☕️Afternoon tea and dinner: For afternoon tea, I recommend Pane e Latte from the Pink House. #springplace2024 "Maple Stage" is a family-friendly hiking route located between Repulse Bay and Stanley Gap Road. The landscape is open and the roadsides are sometimes lined with bellflowers, frangipani, peach blossoms, etc. This is a picnic route that satisfies both the landscape and flower viewing. The Twins is located in the southern part of Hong Kong Island, north of Stanley. It is named after the two peaks of similar height east of Repulse Bay. The main peak is 386 meters high and the secondary peak is 363 meters high.
