Maoming Three-Day Two-Night Eating, Drinking, Playing, and Entertainment Nanny Guide
If you have a three-day holiday😜, Maoming is definitely a highly recommended place👍. It's less crowded and fun😄, and the cost performance is also awesome👏!
Day 1: China's Number One Beach🎈
Upon arriving in Maoming on the first evening🛏, I couldn't wait to rush to China's Number One Beach😆. The night sea breeze gently caressed my cheeks😃, feeling super comfortable😎. The scenic area is free to enter🤩, and you can also enjoy the beautiful sunrise🌅, but I was too lazy😴 and slept right through it🛌. The place I stayed was in a nearby hotel🏨, just a short walk away🚶, about a kilometer to the beach🌊.
🍡 Night Market Street🎉
There are many night markets in Maoming city😜, and they are quite well-managed👏. However, the Shuidong night market was a bit disappointing😕, with too few things to eat😅. But the Qiaobei night market is great😃, worth a try🤤. The oysters there are huge🦪, very fresh, and there's also Uncle's lemon tea🧃, cheap and in a big cup💰.
Day 2: Romantic Beach🌊
Originally planned to go to Fangji Island on the second day🐔, but it happened to be a holiday🎉, and it was so crowded😱, I couldn't even get on the boat🚢, so I had to change my plans at the last minute🤔. The only paid beach I went to cost seventy per person💰, and ten for a car🚗. Actually, it's not much different from China's Number One Beach🤷.
⛲️ Open-pit Mine Ecological Park🌳
Unexpectedly, this park is quite nice😃. Rented a sightseeing car with a friend🚎, and rode around on my own🛵.
Day 3: Fangji Island🐔
Got up a bit earlier in the morning🧐, and managed to catch the first boat🚤. Compared to other tourist cities, there are fewer people here👯. The island is quite small😛, there's no need to stay on the island😒, better to wander around the night markets in the city🤩. Rent an electric bike🚲, and you can finish touring in an hour😜, super photogenic📷, all the good photos were taken on Fangji Island😎. In this scenic area, hot dogs are only five yuan each😍! Absolutely love it💕!
🥘 Local Specialty Foods😋
1. Feilao Duck Congee🦆, perfectly suits the taste of people from Guangdong and Guangxi😍, great value for money, only forty per person on average👏.
2. Xiaodongjia's Lychee Wood Roasted Chicken and Pan-fried Buns🥟, a must-order👍! So delicious it's crazy😝.
3. Chengji Claypot Rice Noodles🥣, it's a type of boiled noodles, and since I haven't had it in Guangxi, I also found it quite special😜.
🏨 About Accommodation🛏
Staying in Dianbai District or Maonan District is fine😄, around two hundred can get you a pretty nice stay👍, anyway, it's about the same distance to anywhere🤔. Unless the hotel is particularly cheap😏, there's no need to insist on staying right next to the scenic area🤗.
