▌ What Russians Consider Commonplace Is a Dream for Foreigners 🪆
They ask me to show more of Moscow! It seems we're on the brink of a new global trend towards all things Russian. And it's not just about clothing (the boom in adapted everyday kokoshniks isn't fading away), nor is it merely an overall demand for the style known as “Slavic Girl” or “boss's girlfriend from the Russian mafia,” with their extravagant fur coats, furs, and scarves. No, what people want now is authentic modern beautiful clothes in the true Russian style, adapted to contemporary life. Including designs by Russian fashion designers.
Foreigners tell me they want to come to Moscow, dream of seeing it, and if these were words from random individuals, I wouldn't believe them. But most of them I've known for years.
Meanwhile, Moscow embodies the quintessential Russian vibe!
▌ Today I'm Showcasing Summer in Moscow 🎈
In the city center, several summer photo zones have been set up under the auspices of the project #ЛетoвМоскве (#SummerinMoscow). The municipal government has declared Moscow the capital of summer for three months, from June 1st to September 7th, 2025.
These are not just spots for pretty pictures—there are also summer cafes, festivals, green theaters, circus tents, swimming pools, immersive museums, trade stalls like “Berry Seasons” or vintage markets. Sports events, open-air cinemas, dancing, art, libraries, interactive activities, lectures, workshops, eco-festivals, craft studios, eco-walks and eco-quizzes, social projects promoting mutual aid. Activities in parks, picnics... Altogether, there are nearly 1,000 locations across Moscow and its suburbs!
Oh, even I envy Muscovites!
Tell me: which photo zones within this project you've already visited, what sights you've seen, did you try honey beer, got any gifts?
