After 2 months, I came back to enjoy 3H lunch❤️
After 10% discount on co-branded card, $1490/person
I have been to the island 6 times since its opening. I was not very satisfied the first time, but in the past six months I have only been dining there once every 2 months!
The price difference between lunch and dinner on weekdays is $300, and the meal time is only half an hour different. The difference in the dining table is not big, so lunch is more recommended.
The holiday dining table is not much different, lunch and afternoon tea are both 2.5 hours, dinner is 3.5 hours, but one more portion can be served with half a lobster, it depends on your preference☺️
Island Language is themed around eight islands, namely, refreshing, abundant, brilliant, delicious, fresh, roasted, stewed, and colorful. Its specialty is one island with one wine pairing, with over 200 dishes.
The Nangang store is designed with a long and narrow environment. This time I sat in Area C (the beverage area at the end), and I felt obviously at a disadvantage.
Only desserts and fruits are convenient. If you want to go to the door, the bartending, fresh food and fried grill areas are quite far away.
A raw seafood table with sake
This area is the biggest battleground after the crowd enters. The sashimi and sushi are of good quality, but there is a queue for an hour before.
Fresh, all kinds of fresh cold cuts, appetizers and salads with white wine. Today's red crabs are big and sweet.
Roasted with red wine
In addition to freshly fried scallops and prawns, there are also high-end steakhouses, grilled meats, freshly fried American steaks (the sign says fillet but the chef said it’s not 😅), rosemary lamb chops and tomahawk pork chops
Choose two from three frying pans, and if there's no queue after one o'clock, you can order more!
Meal, served with millet wine
Classic Chinese dishes include the Michelin Guide-recommended Taiwanese cuisine Dongpo pork from Fuyuan, Mingrenfang's abalone siu mai, roasted cherry duck with crispy skin, abalone, squid, snail meat, garlic, and Changchun rolls.
Fresh meat loves roast duck, and there are two notices on the table saying the duck is ready to be roasted 😂
Pots, various freshly cooked soups and pots
It's amazing that the XO sauce oyster pot in this area is not as delicious as Han Lai's
Qin, the beverage counter, includes Bar TCRC co-branded cocktails and Taihu Craft Beer, which have won the honor of being one of the top 50 bars in Asia. The cocktails and sparkling wine in this area are very good. My best friend recommends Jinxuan and Metropolitan Men and Women.
Shuo, with a refreshing fruit vinegar drink
The fried and grilled food station includes warm oysters, fried oysters, fried shrimp, fried abalone and other Japanese fried foods
Bin, Happy Dessert
This time I ordered more salted bean curd, it was pretty good
It's just too small a cup.
I love the strawberry cheese in the island language 💞
This meal didn’t taste as good as last time. The grilled oysters I was looking forward to were quite fishy! Plus, they called the day before to confirm that they might need to add extra chairs for a party of eight, which felt awkward, so I didn’t make reservations for next time!
