The large reclining Buddha (sleeping Buddha) made of brick and mortar covered in gold, which is approximately 22.58 meters long, is believed to have been built during the Sukhothai period. There is a legend that this Buddha statue floated and sank in front of the temple and can talk, which was recorded by Phra Khru Pa Mok Muni, the former abbot.
Inside the temple, there is also a Ubosot with late Ayutthaya architecture and beautiful murals. The atmosphere around the temple is shady and quiet, suitable for making merit and relaxing.
