Introduction to the attraction: The five concubines in Wufei Temple refer to the five concubines of Zhu Shugui, the Prince of Ningjing of the Southern Ming regime: Yuan, Wang, Xiu Gu, Mei Jie and He Jie. The Temple of Five Concubines was first built in 1683 (the 37th year of the Yongli reign of the Ming Dynasty and the 22nd year of the Kangxi reign of the Qing Dynasty). It has been more than three hundred years since 1683.
After they committed suicide, they were buried in the Temple of Five Concubines. It is also a unique temple in Taiwan's temple culture.

Tickets: Free admission
Travel tips: In addition to the statues, the Five Concubines Temple also has tombstones embedded in the wall behind the statues, a rare form of "tomb and temple in one". From the back of the temple, the building looks like the front of a tomb. The entire building is not only a temple but also a tomb. The tombstone is engraved with "Tomb of the Five Concubines of Prince Ningjing". The length of the tombstone is half a person's height, which is much larger than the size of ordinary tombstones. It is a rare special temple in Taiwan and is worth a visit!
