Kaohsiung Half-Day Trip = Cijin Island Cijin Island, located right off the main island of Kaohsiung, feels like Yeongdo Island in Busan. 🌊 A 10-minute ferry ride away. ⛴️ (EasyCard: $20 = 770 KRW) Before departure, cool off at Heizibing, a red bean shaved ice shop near the ferry terminal. 🍧 And grab some delicious bread from a surprising bakery. 🥯 Once you arrive on the island, renting an electric bike is a must! 1 hour isn't enough; I recommend a 2-hour course. 👍 A regular bike will definitely leave you drenched in sweat. Riding a bike and feeling the ocean breeze is refreshing~ There are photo spots everywhere, so bring a tripod for the perfect shot. 📸 There are more gorgeous temples than you might expect, and the ocean views, like those at Taejongdae, are breathtaking. 🌅 The rainbow sculpture was a bit too Instagram-worthy, but 🤭 on clear days, it's still a decent photo opportunity! This roller slide is 79 meters long, with a track width of 56 centimeters and a height difference of 16 meters. The slide is 30.5 meters above sea level and takes about 40 seconds to slide. Currently, the Time Corridor Slide, combined with the historical site tour, has switched to online reservations and charges a tour and cleaning fee. It is closed every Monday for equipment maintenance. Relevant reservation information is as follows: 1. Group tour reservation: (1) Number of people: 30-50 people per group. It was the Taiwanese farmhouse of Otani Kozui, the 22nd head priest of the Nishi Honganji branch of the Japanese Jodo Shinshu sect. The two-story building, primarily green, features green shell sand stucco, green glazed tiles, and green cement tiles, embodying both traditional Japanese living spaces and a fusion of Japanese and Western styles. Xiaoyaoyuan's most unique feature is the large air-raid shelter on the first floor, which accommodated approximately 180 people. This shelter was built to avoid becoming a target for air raids during the period of deteriorating relations between Japan and the United States and Japan's active preparations for war. The entrance is from Jintian Road, which was originally the rear of Xiaoyaoyuan. The front entrance was from Lane 55, Liuhe 1st Road. My itinerary starts from Taipei, I asked a local for a free lift who i met at the MRT when looking for ways and they were super nice, i shared about my journey and they offered to have me with them un their car when they visited their children in Kaohsiung. In taiwan, im just free-styling go here and there, . Biking is cheap and flexible, i recommend everyone to consider this means of travel when in Taiwan. I travel around each city on a bike. To reach different city i found local bus is cheaper than train. Total of my travel was 5 days and the budget i paid was 80$ in total

The new hotel in 2024 is located at No. 2, Wufu 4th Road, Yancheng District, Kaohsiung City. Because it is an old house renovation, there is no elevator. It is about one kilometer away from the True Love Pier and Pier-2 Art Center. The overall design is very comfortable. Although there is no parking lot, it is not too difficult to find a parking space nearby. You can get a subsidy of up to $120 at the counter with the payment receipt. The public space on the first floor provides simple small biscuits and snacks, board games, and unlimited red and white wine until 18:00. The bathroom space in the room is large, but it is a pity that there is no bathtub. The water pressure is generally not too strong. Bathing products include shampoo and shower gel, towels and bath towels, and conditioner and facial cleanser need to be prepared by yourself. The next table was 4 engineers working in Nanzi (TSMC). The only things in the world that cannot be let down are (love and food). We quickly became good friends. Everyone ate meat, rice, beef, fresh scallops, prawns, and salmon. The ingredients were fresh. They were fried in a small pan. They were tender and juicy and delicious. The service staff was friendly and greeted us to change the grilled iron plate and add white rice, lettuce salad, and miso soup. It was lively with more people. The food tasted better. The ingredients were fresh, delicious, and full of human touch. It was a great restaurant. It is worth recommending to everyone.
