📍 Chiang Mai travel plan, 5 nights, 4 days, chill, heal your heart.
Day 1 — Travel & Chill at the Hotel
We arrived in Chiang Mai in a leisurely manner, focusing on a relaxing trip rather than a quick check-in.
As soon as we arrived at the hotel, we were determined to fully relax and not go anywhere.
As a laid-back type, we ordered Raw Trucker to our room.
Their fried chicken is amazing, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It was so delicious, we wanted to...
Day 2 — Chaiyapol Homestay
Booked a trip with Chaiyapol Homestay and got a car to pick us up at the hotel.
In the evening, we had a full-on barbecue (pork barbecue) in the cool, refreshing air.
Normally, the package includes a trip to Mae Kampong and the Giant Coffee Shop.
But we had a study interview, so we stayed at the hotel instead.
After the barbecue, we slept comfortably all night.
🌿 Day 3 — Back to the city & stayed at Maple Wood
In the morning, we took a leisurely tour of Mae Kampong Village, the waterfall, and the Giant Coffee Shop.
Then, we were dropped off at Maple Wood, a hotel in a convenient location, within walking distance of Tha Phae Gate.
The room was so comfortable that we decided to...sleep all day!
The bed is soft, the atmosphere is quiet, and the cafe is right next to it. I have to say, it feels amazing!
🐱 Day 4 — Make the most of your stay at the hotel.
I woke up late and relaxed, chilling in my room all day.
In the afternoon, I went to the cat café, Vilar Cafe, where I met tons of adorable cats.
I then rode my motorbike to Tha Phae Gate and did some shopping.
Back at the hotel, I ordered some Chang Phueak Sukiyaki to cap off the day with a hot bowl of soup. It was so delicious, I forgot I wasn't really going on a trip.
✈️ Day 5 — We left early!
We could have continued our trip, but we missed our cats so much, so we flew back early.
If you have time to spare, I recommend strolling through the temples in the city, as they're so beautiful and authentically Lanna. You won't get bored no matter how much you walk.
This trip is perfect for those who truly want to relax, take your time, sleep, read, eat delicious food, and explore slowly without putting pressure on yourself.
