||I didn't make any plans for Yangshuo and just lay in the hotel for 3 days, witnessing the purest scenery. The first one Located halfway up the mountain on the way to Xianggong Hill The hotel is secluded, but offers an excellent view and is very classically and elegantly decorated. It's not as internet-famous as Sugar House, and the view is much better than Banyan Tree. Before coming here, I saw a lot of negative reviews about the accommodation, but I can only say don't set your expectations too high. Definitely do not choose the cheapest room type, the Deluxe Sun-view Pavilion offers the best value for money. I'm willing to pay for the view, and this place and the nearby Xianggong Hill are the most worthwhile spots to see in Yangshuo. Staying here means there's no need to visit other attractions. The room rate includes free breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner, all of which are delicious. The driver offers free transfers to Xingping Pier, so transportation is not a worry. The second one is Shengdi Hotel Located by the Yulong River, next to the Ten-Mile Gallery Coming to Yangshuo, after seeing the mountains, you can't miss the water. Shengdi Hotel is right on the most essential part of the Yulong River rafting route. Instead of queuing for rafting and tipping for photos, it's better to choose to dine at the riverside restaurant here, idly watching the people come and go on the river. The prices are affordable, but the facilities are indeed a bit outdated. Most of the time, I chose to just sit in the courtyard and space out. It's worth mentioning that the restaurant's dishes are very tasty! If you're afraid of making a poor choice, you can also order Western food, at least it won't go wrong.

Stay at the little known Yangshuo Mountain Retreat for hearty meals (both Western and Chinese) and traditional style decor - not to mention the only unencumbered view of the river and mountains in the area. But don’t tell everyone, I’m trying to keep it a secret! Whether up in the air in a cable car/hiking moon mountain, on the water in a bamboo raft/Li river tour or deep under the surface in the bowels of the Silver cave, Yangshuo has something for everyone, all year round!

Sunrise at Yangshuo Mountain Retreat must be included in the TO-DO list of places to visit in Yangshuo. It is located in a serene surroundings. The view point high up in the valley let you enjoy the best scenic view of the river and surrounding mountains. The whole place is majestic and the landscape can't be better. The recommended sightseeing time is between one to two hours. This is a great opportunity to see the mountains and beautiful landscape with the best view "literally above everything". You can also see the cloud formation among the mountains. Try not to miss out the sunrise. Plan accordingly to get there as early as possible to get a good spot so you can take wonderful sunrise landscape photographies. Bring comfortable walking shoes as there are many stairs to climb. Hiking is not very demanding but better to come early enough so you can climb up without rushing. Don't forget your water and camera! 💐There is a travel idea to choose a long journey for a certain atmosphere of a certain place. 🚶‍♀️Yangshuo Shengdi Hotel, 🏨I chose Yangshuo to visit it. 🪻 The post said that it was opened by an American in the early days, 🏡and there is no plastic or disposable items in the whole hotel, 🪷which makes the environmental protection and recycling system real. 🥀There were no so-called internet celebrity check-in points when the hotel opened, 🍀only pure "uniqueness" and "heartfelt love"! The hotel's garden occupies the most beautiful section of the Yulong River 🌷, and every day when I have breakfast at the river view restaurant, bamboo rafts pass by one after another. 🍀The breakfast is super large and of high quality, 😘with 7 sets of Chinese and Western styles to choose from 🌴. ❣️We stayed at Shengdi Hotel in Yangshuo, 🏨and we must stay in the riverfront balcony room on the second floor or attic of the hotel, 🏡which is really different from the view on the first floor. The Yulong River is really beautiful from a high place. 🌷I have a detailed guide on choosing bamboo rafts on the Yulong River in my notes, you can have a look~ 🍀 However, although the scenery of Shengdi Hotel is particularly beautiful, 😘the Chinese food in the hotel is average. Except for Guilin rice noodles, 🥰the children's hamburger with fries in the Western restaurant is delicious, 🌸I don't like pizza and pasta, the pizza is particularly hard, 🌸and the pasta has a strong cheese flavor and is particularly greasy. 💐The best Chinese food I felt was the Master Chef on Yangshuo West Street that we ate on our last day. I rented a Strawberry Bear sidecar opposite the hotel. 100 yuan/3 hours, 30 yuan for the fourth hour. It's still a good deal! . I personally think that the Shengdi Hotel offers great value for money, especially for family trips with elderly members. The hotel has three buildings, and we booked a family suite that can accommodate four adults, and I think it wouldn't be a problem to add a child as well. The rooms are clean and located in the main building, making it very convenient to go downstairs for breakfast since the rooms are on the second floor. This hotel used to only cater to foreign guests, which is why the staff are all bilingual, and there are still many foreigners staying here. There are many negative reviews online, and opinions vary, but I think for this price, the prime location with beautiful scenery, and the fact that the staff helped us carry our luggage during check-in and check-out, our family was very satisfied.
