Suwon Hwaseong Fortress is located an hour by train or bus from Seoul Station. It has a castle gate like the one in the manga Kingdom, and you can walk on top of the castle walls. I bought a ticket at the ticket center and chose the course that took me around the castle walls by car. The scenery is magnificent. It warmed my heart to think that people used to live here. I went there the first time in summer, the second time in autumn, and the third time in winter. In winter, Suwon Hwaseong Fortress is covered in snow, which makes it very picturesque.
