YukuraShrine is a Yukura Shrine located in Hakodate. In 2 years (1653), Takahiro, the fourth-generation patriarch of the Matsumae Domain, fell ill. His mother was entrusted by the gods and asked him to come to Yunokawa to soak in hot springs for treatment. Takahiro recovered soon. became famous. The following year, in order to thank the gods, the Matsumae Domain erected a monument here to commemorate the birthplace of Yunokawa Onsen, and built the Yukura Shrine at the same time. The main hall of the shrine was rebuilt in Showa 16 (1941), and there is a row of red access roads next to the main hall. The environment of Yukura Shrine is very quiet. In the courtyard, there is a sacred rabbit carved in stone, and the wishing place is full of people's wish cards. It's a good place to meditate on a shrine, or to do nothing but walk around.
