However, be warned because it is a bit more expensive to buy food here instead of eating before coming. Pompei can be reached by bus only about an hour away, or by car taxi and many tourist groups can be seen here in the summer. The city is wide and vast so be sure to wear walking shoes for the cobblestones. View in awe the many houses, gardens, and places people lived. There are museums and a gift shop one can visit for souvenirs too. I especially enjoy the views of the villas people of wealth used to live in with the open roofs and big garden areas. Overall. It’s very beautiful. I love Italian culture! I went to a lot of museums there and it was amazing. If you are going there be also careful of people who are stealing. The hotels are nice! The people there were very nice. I loved the heat since I was there in the beginning of September. I really advise going there with families or maybe on a school trip, just like I did!
