if you're travelling to Lampung but does not have much time to explore all the white sand beaches in Lampung, I would recommend to go to Pahawang. It will took a boat ride to get here, from a shore near the Indonesia Navy base in Lampung. There are small islands to play with the white sands, or you can go snorkeling - this is a must try activity in Pahawang. It also safe to take children to the snorkeling activity too. My first time tried snorkeling, I think good for beginners, soft sand, beautiful scenery made my trip so wonderful. I recommended you to come here,with your family and friends. This vacation marked our family's first experience crossing the Sunda Strait, which is actually quite close to Jakarta. The Jakarta-Bandar Lampung road trip takes about four hours (including the ferry crossing). Lampung is famous for its white sand beaches along the Trans-Sumatra route, especially the beaches in the Kalianda area, which offer views of Mount Krakatoa. Lampung also boasts small islands like Pahawang, Wayang, and Kelagian, which offer stunning tourism potential. The clear, white-sand beaches are a major draw for these small islands. Pahawang can be reached by speedboat or motorboat from the Ketapang tourist pier in Pesawaran Regency. Numerous travel agencies offer island-hopping packages, from open-air tours to private trips. Because our family wanted freedom to choose the time and location of the island's tourist attractions, we took a one-day private trip that included boat rental to seven spots on four islands, along with a guide, snorkeling gear, lunch, and documentation including underwater photos and videos using a GoPro. During the trip to Pahawang, the waves were calm, with views of the hills and the expanse of the ocean quite pleasing to the eye. The lunch served was quite appetizing, despite its simple menu.

Visited one of beautiful treasure of Lampung, Pahawang Island several months ago. Here is one of the spot. We got our lunch here after playing watersports. I suggest you to have one day tour to Pahawang. You can join the private group tour who organized the trip (you can find them online). They're usually getting busy in the weekend with many guests/travelers. But going to Pahawang on the weekend will be more fun, since many people are going there too. The trip usually starts in the morning (like 7 AM) and ends in 4 or 5 PM. #lampung #beach

You can get a boat from Ketapang Jetty. There were 4 piers with lots of boats to choose. Traditional wooden boats which are cheaper but slow paced or higher priced fast fiberglass speed boats. You can enjoy snorkling, canoeing, and other watersport attractions.
