#glamping Given that the tent city is only erected for the fair it was good. The tent was spacious, containing two twin beds and had an ensuite bathroom. There was no a/c.There were two chairs in the tent and two out front. The tent also included a shaded front porch. We stayed there for two nights arriving at lunchtime on the first day. For us the time was too long; 1/2 to 1 day would have been enough, in part because the middle of the day was so hot that we spent it keeping cool as best we could be taking showers and relaxing on the front porch. The food was vegetarian and was reasonably good given the number of people they had to accommodate. It was billed as an alcohol free space though a group of people on our row clearly had brought alcohol and had a happy hour before dinner. It is held over seven days in autumn, around October or November. 📍 Getting There - From Ajmer city we booked a cab till Pushkar. When I first arrived in Pushkar, I met a rare Indian wedding. We rushed into the wedding team and sneaked a lot of photos. The enthusiastic Indians also invited us to take photos with them, and proposed to let them also attend their wedding with their patriarchs. But we refused. In other words, the groom is riding a white horse to greet the bride, and looks really good. In India, the wedding time is more than 8:00 pm, the wedding venue chooses to open the fixed venue, and there are chefs on the scene to make Indian food. The bride went to the salon to dress up on the wedding day. The groom wore Indian national costumes and sat in the carriage early to arrive at the wedding scene to wait for the bride. The groom can enter the wedding scene after waiting, accepting the blessings of the female elders, and cutting the ribbon. At the formal wedding ceremony, the bride and groom first accept the blessings of the elders and relatives of the women's ethnic group, and then enter the rituals such as wearing garlands, exchanging jewellery, burning grains and wishing for each other's handkerchiefs. The entire wedding took 7 or 8 hours. Most of the man is responsible for buying a house, while the woman is responsible for purchasing home appliances and other wedding facilities and holding weddings. The female family with conditions will also accompany the car.

Every corner of the hotel is picturesque, with a variety of ornamental potted plants and hanging green vines. The balcony is a three-blue dream palace hemisphere pavilion. We were thrilled with our tour through Northern India (Delhi, Mandawa, Pushkar, Jaipur, and Agra). Our driver, Sunder Singh, was outstandingly helpful throughout the trip. He greeted us at the airport late at night, ensured our safe journey to the hotel, and checked that everything was in order before departing. Always punctual, he willingly took us wherever we wanted to go and suggested authentic and clean restaurants along our route. Sunder even sought out clean restrooms through local advice, which we very much appreciated. Despite encountering flooded roads due to heavy rains, Sunder quickly found alternative and safer routes, avoiding any hassle for us. His professionalism, kindness, and dedication made us feel at ease and well-cared-for at all times. He is undoubtedly a 10/10 driver and a wonderful individual. Regarding the local guides we requested in each city, while their professionalism and depth of knowledge could have been improved, they were generally helpful and added value to the experience. We arrived in India at New Delhi with a self-organized tour from Italy, which was detailed, precise, and focused on key attractions for our 12-day trip. However, it inevitably included some errors, as we were unfamiliar with the country we were about to visit. We embarked on a 6-day trip to Pushkar, Jaipur, Agra, and finally returned to Delhi. Our journey began with a pickup at the airport by a courteous and charming driver named Nipendra Chatham, who upgraded our experience throughout the trip and accommodated all our requests. While in Pushkar, we explored independently. In Jaipur, we spent half a day with a guide named Krishna, who showed us several beautiful sites. Krishna was knowledgeable and patient, even capturing photos of us at various impressive locations throughout the day. On our way from Jaipur, we visited Fatehpur Sikri and another site with a terrific guide arranged by the company. Continuing to Agra, we toured around with our driver and enjoyed sunset views of the Taj Mahal from nearby gardens. The next morning, we woke early at 5 AM to meet our guide Imran for a sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal. Imran was an amateur photographer and helped us take breathtaking pictures of ourselves and the iconic site. From there, we proceeded to Delhi. In Delhi, our driver accompanied us to several attractions, including the Lotus Temple and Akshardham Temple (highly recommended). Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the trip!
