High-tech business, commercial, retail, and residential facilities are built above ground, and highways, subways, and general roads are placed underground, so there is almost no congestion in the city center.

The accommodation facilities are newer and better than Paris, and the prices are cheaper, so people prefer to stay in La Defense. It is a station with the Rer line and Paris Line 1 subway, so it is a good location for subway travel to places like the Arc de Triomphe and the Louvre.

It is a sub-center of Paris, located 8km from the city center on the banks of the Seine River, with the Louvre Museum and the Arc de Triomphe in the center of the capital city of Paris as the central axis.

The room was spacious and nice. We accidentally booked a twin bed room and told the front desk about it - they kindly linked our beds by the next day which was nice. We had breakfast at around 9am at both days we were staying there and they didn't restock the food (no eggs, 2 sad looking sausages, no yoghurt) which was definitely a minus.
