Beautiful French ski resort | Val Thorens
| Val Thorens. Had a fun ski week with old friends, went to the Val Thorens ski resort~ Climbed two mountains. Must take the last cable car at 16:30pm chasing the perfect sunset all the way, the scenery is simply too beautiful, reluctant to go down the mountain!
The three major valleys are mainly composed of nine ski resorts, the world's largest three ski resorts, Courchevel, named after their altitude as Courchevel 1850, Courchevel 1650, Courchevel 1550 and Courchevel 1300. Among them, Chourchevel 1850 located in the center of the ski resort is the most famous, after all, there is a small airport that allows private planes and helicopters to take off and land. There are mini bars in the skiing area, and there are open-air terraces outside. It's too happy to have a drink here and breathe the mountain air.
The resort has Michelin restaurants + luxury stores + bar parties, it's not boring at all after skiing. Courcheval probably meets the imagination of a top ski resort. The snow trails are wide, few people, soft snow (if the snow is not good, the snow machine will keep blowing) The little sisters taking pictures on the side of the road and the bartenders are all well-dressed, the high-value Gucci cable car that can hold snowboards, very willful!
🚗Self-driving distance from Paris is about 600 kilometers (about 7 hours by car)
What is the experience of a top ski resort | Courchevel, France
| Courchevel, France. If there's one word to describe the Courchevel ski resort in France, 🤔 it would definitely be money-burning. Not only is it the world's largest ski resort, but the surrounding facilities are almost catching up with 👉Dubai shopping center, with Pradal, Chanel, Hermes and other big brand stores everywhere, 🥳 and there are many items that can't be bought elsewhere! Not to mention the luxury hotels that have settled in, 👀White Horse Manor, Six Good, Aman and Le k2 hotel... Let's see what's worth experiencing.
☑Ski resort introduction
Courchevel is the most luxurious part of the French ski resort Les 3 Vallée, with 4⃣ towns, each named after their altitude: 1850, 1650, 1550, 1300. The most famous is the 1850 area, which is the first choice for people who love to ski single and double boards! It has more than 300 ski trails, the longest snow trail is more than 500 kilometers, and there are 155 cable car lines.
Of course, in addition to skiing, there are also snowmobiles, 🏍 cliff parachuting, gliders, ice skating and other activities. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced skier, you can find your own leisure way in Courchevel ski resort~
Ski enthusiasts' first choice here | Courchevel, France
| Courchevel, France. Courchevel is one of the most famous ski areas in France and even the world, and is one of the essence areas of the Alps. It is located in the center of the three major valleys in France, surrounded by forests🎄, and its excellent geographical location makes this area covered by thick snow❄ throughout the ski season. It is a rare leisure resort that combines skiing and vacationing in Europe and even the world. 🌟Best skiing time: open in early December every year, close at the end of April
🎿Snowfield projects:
Courchevel plans many activities every year to satisfy 'high-end' tourists from all over the world🏂
In addition to skiing, you can try other snow sports, including snowmobiles, four-wheel motorcycles, helicopters, cliff parachuting, gliders, dog sleds, ice skating and other activities. No matter what project you want to experience, you can experience the joy of ice and snow here!
This time my friends and I went to the Courchevel ski resort. I have to sigh that the ski resort here is very large, with many ski trails to choose from, and it is also very suitable for beginners to experience the fun of skiing. If you have a budget💰, you can also find a ski instructor, which can also ensure safety, which is also the most important point of skiing: safety first!

Exhaustively compiled guide essentials for skiing in the Three Valleys
Must-visit list.
The Three Valleys in France is vast, and the weather is unpredictable, so make sure to visit the beautiful sights on a sunny day❗️ Here's the must-visit list for you, arrange according to the weather:
1️⃣ Ice Cave next to the Courchevel cable car VT13, best visited on a sunny day outside the cross path
2️⃣Courchevel 3200m (the highest peak in the Three Valleys) take the large cable car that fits a hundred people, it might close when it's windy, and you won't see anything when it's foggy
3️⃣FOILE DOUCE bar, world-famous for its after-ski electronic parties, every day from 3:00-5:00 PM, you need to queue up for a security check at the entrance
4️⃣High-end shopping street in Courchevel, the shop assistants are very nice, they'll chat about skiing even if you don't buy anything, the shops are like the clothing stores down your street
5️⃣Beautiful Belle Park, where you can crawl through pipes and tunnels, there's a long chase path, many types of boxes, even small kids with legs can jump, and there's also a mini U-tube. There are many parks in the Three Valleys, just go in when you encounter one, some require a tow
6️⃣Courchevel Town, a good place for affordable skiing gear, the overall cost of dining is cheaper than in Courchevel
⚠️When skiing in the Three Valleys🏂⛷️
✅Bring a big mountain board for easy switching between on and off-piste
✅Bring a map🗺️, download the Three Valleys map app (sometimes it shows real-time slope openings)
✅For crossing the Three Valleys, pack a backpack: bring a map, water, food, chocolate, and if you plan to ski off-piste, bring the three essentials for backcountry skiing
✅Bring money❗️If you take the wrong slope and miss the cable car, you'll need to take a bus or taxi back to your valley, some routes are 🆓, but some are not, like from Méribel to Courchevel you can only take a taxi
✅Bring walkie-talkies, the ones from home will work. Sometimes the signal is bad on the mountain due to strong winds, so you might have to repeat yourself
About the most convenient place to stay in the Three Valleys:
This time I stayed in Méribel, the cheapest accommodation area in the Three Valleys, but overall, I wouldn't really recommend it, because it's not very convenient to go to any valley, and Méribel is at the lowest altitude with too many flat linking paths
👍Staying in Courchevel is probably the best value for money considering all factors, it's convenient to go anywhere, the town is nice to stroll around, and there are many restaurants
Staying in Courchevel is for the wealthy, as everything from dining to accommodation is expensive, but it's also an option if you want to splurge

Les Arcs Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jun)
Les Arcs Lyon
Skiing at Les Arcs was my first ever experience skiing, and I couldn’t recommend it more if you’re like me and this will be your first time skiing. They have great slopes for beginners and kids and they have great slopes to build up to when you’re feeling more comfortable. They have a few little restaurants and lots of bars, and I’d say it’s definitely more of a family resort. Overall loved my first ski holiday here and can’t wait to go again!
