Today, I would like to introduce the first day course, Baekyangsa course. Naejangsan Mountain, Korea's No. 1 maple tree, is a mountain on the border of Jeongeup-si and Sunchang-gun, Jeollabuk-do, and is one of the five famous mountains in Honam and one of the eight scenic views of Korea, and has been widely known as a maple spot for more than 500 years.

Once I each to the bus terminal , before go up to the mountain, have lunch at one of local favourite- BiBimbap , and then walk 2 km to the mountain base and took cable car to the top , observation desk and enjoy the whole mountain that full of maple 🍁leave . After enjoying Mother Nature and came back down and back to Seoul with train. . Really amazing view and such a worth day trip from Seoul . And also have lots of day trip operated by different local / oversea ray tour from Seoul to Naejangsan in autumn time . Autumn is the busiest season at Naejangsan National Park, and for good reason. This season is the perfect time to admire the vibrant autumn colors, especially the crimson maple leaves. We spent two days in Naejangsan, with the itinerary below: Day 1: We took a bus from Seoul to Jeongeup, which took around 3 hours, then transferred to a local bus to Naejangsan National Park. We arrived around noon, had lunch, rested a little, then walked to the park to enjoy the autumn colors at the foot of the mountain. Day 2: We got up early and were ready for a hike. Initially, we opted for the easiest trail, but for some reason, we ended up on a moderate-to-difficult trail, passing by several peaks. However, the trail wasn't that tough, and we saw many elderly people hiking. At the peaks, we could see the whole park covered in yellow and red. It was such a memorable experience. #hikingtrails

Naejangsan is one of my favorite places in Korea to experience the fall foliage. Just around 4 hours by highway bus from Seoul, it’s doable as a day trip. However, I always prefer to spend at least one night there, allowing me to beat the crowds in the early morning and have enough time to hike to several of Naejangsan’s peaks. There are plenty of accommodation options nearby, and the food is great too. I highly recommend visiting in the autumn! #koreatrip

To go to Naejangsan National Park from Seoul, take a bus to Jeongeup and from the city's Bus Terminal, you can get to Naejangsan by taking Bus 171 (내장산). Multiple Trains go between Yongsan and Jeongeup each day and from the train station there, take Bus 101 to Naejangsan. There are many paths that allow visitors to walk and hike through the astounding landscape. One of the more challenging treks is the 9-summit circut with varying peaks ranging from 2,172 to 2,503 feet (662 m to 763 m). It was bigger than I thought, so it was enough for two people, and it was even a real bucket made of gourd, so it was fun to scoop up water and play with it, and it was even more fun to have spa time. The water temperature was so hot and it was full of steam, so it felt more healing and warm.🔥 There was a massage chair and a nostalgic arcade game in the room, so it was a place where time flew by! took the first bus to visit this famous fall place that has been hype by many. once you reach this location, you will be awe by the beauty of the fall leaf. Transportation tips: It is recommended to take the Jeonbuk shuttle bus from Seoul to Naejangsan (available from Friday to Sunday, USD$10 per person round trip). It is super cost-effective! Check-in attractions: Yuhua Pavilion, Neizang Temple, and places with many maple leaves. When my younger sister went there, there were not many maple leaves and the weather was average, but it was very comfortable to go hiking. You could hear the sound of flowing water and birds singing, see the mountains, big trees, flowing water, and squirrels, and feel leisurely and free. We chose a normal hiking route, the entire route was paved, so we had a good walk. #freehotelstay Naejangsan National Park was one of the most beautiful places I have been to in Korea. I did a day tour from Seoul. The tour group got dropped off at a small village. To get to Naejang Mountain, you could take the shuttle bus to the cable car, the shuttle bus and then hike up the mountain, or walk for 40 minutes and then climb up the mountain. I walked the whole time. There was an abundance of bright red and orange leaves. The hike up wasn’t too intense, though I did have to be careful not to slip and fall when descending the mountain. I do recommend carrying a hiking stick for safety reasons. The best views were the ones at the top from the observation deck.
