H. C. Andersens House Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Odense is the hometown of Andersen! The street in Figure 1 is the location of the house where Andersen lived as a child! It is a street with hundreds of years of history! The
Andersen Museum is surrounded by a small lake and the environment is very quiet. It is a detailed introduction to the life of Andersen, writing various manuscripts of fairy tales, even the love letters he wrote to his beloved woman. Andersens bed when he was a child was very small, and there were abrasive tools for making shoes.
Andersen loves paper-cutting, and there are places for children and parents to try to cut paper at the exit of the museum. Many museums in Denmark have such an area where children can learn about history from interesting practices.
Denmark Odense
Here is the hometown of Andersen, a quiet and peaceful city.
Looking at Andersen's fairy tale as a child, I imagined that I could enter the fairy tale world and embrace those cute and interesting characters.
Today in Odense, I really walked into the world of fairy tales. Under the leadership of Andersens grandfather, I met the pea princess, the mermaid, etc., and had a big dream.

Address: The home of Andersen in the city of Odense in central Fife, Denmark
Odense is the place that best reflects fairy tales. The Andersen Museum shows the world all the life and work before the poem. The ancient poet museum (with Chinese guide).
Features:
The lines drawn outside the house wall are all twisted and twisted, and the whole building is also awkward, the feeling of the fairy tale world. It is very suitable for aerial photography (the city of Denmark is not allowed to fly in the name of the city, but if you hide the hidden points, it does not matter.)
The exhibits in the museum seem to bring me back to the time when Andersen originally created his works. We can understand Andersen and see his distinctive appearance and thoughts. There are also many paintings and works of art by Andersen.
's former residence is a one-story building with six or seven houses. It used to live in six or seven households. Andersen only lived in one of them. The rooms are small and very low, and the big ones will not be bowed and will be rejected. The house was very simple, the rough windows and doors kept the old look of the early 19th century. Now the house has been connected. The wall is inlaid with a large glass cabinet. It displays Andersens manuscripts, letters, fairy tale publishing contracts, related characters, portraits, etc. Precious information. Through these materials, you can have a general understanding of Andersen's life creation, life and other major activities. These materials are numerous, extensive, and well preserved. All materials are available in Danish and English.
Here is the hometown of Andersen, located in the small town of Odense, west of Copenhagen. Not far from the train station is the Andersen Museum. The visitor center next to it can also get a travel brochure specially prepared for Andersen fans. It lists several important important sights in the town and can follow the route to explore Andersens masters. The imprint of childhood, as well as the ancient buildings in the town.

LEGOLAND® Billund Resort Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Chuyện của Xíu
Legoland Billund is excellent, we arrived early and were at the front of the queue to get in, they don’t do what they do at Legoland Windsor and allow you in the shops before the park opens the shutters opened at exactly opening time.
When we first arrived it seemed small but we were mistaken.
Some of the rides are the same as other parks e.g the ninja go ride however there are plenty of different rides and a few that are tame rollercoasters for the older children which is a great introduction.
The park was clean and well looked after.
The food was typical theme park junk food with the usual inflated prices.
Legoland is an incredible place with so much positive energy and great service.
I would highly recommend a visit to Legoland Billund.
#freehotelstay
In total there are 10 different zones at Legoland Billund to explore, so lots and lots to see and do!
There's lots of places throughout the park where the kids can experience building something with Lego❤️ We love the ideas that on each rides, there are designed place for the kids to build Lego while the parents wait on the queue, so the kids will not get bored have to wait for long queues. One of those is the Monster Wall near the haunted house ride was so cool!👍
Miniland was absolutely mind-blowing, the lego models that are on display there are unbelievable😍
All rides are all amazing! One of our favourites is called 'The Dragon'. It's actually built into a medieval castle🏰and you walk round it and get to see some incredible lego models before even getting on the ride. Then on the ride it takes you around the castle some more and again you see some more incredible Lego models that blow your mind and then it speeds up and take you outside on a fun rollercoaster ride.🎢😆
The Pirate Splash Battle💦made Mama and Henry soaking wet but was so much fun. Jungle Racers was amazing too, Daddy and Henry got to speed around on fun water scooters! The Lego Canoe and Pirate Boat was so cool🤩Atalantis by Sea Life which is an aquarium there was also amazing! 🥰The 4D movie big theatre show with water zone was excellent.

GIVSKUD ZOO ZOOTOPIA Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Chuyện của Xíu
Givskud Zoo is a zoo and safari park in Givskud, 20 kilometres north west of Vejle in Denmark. The park opened in 1969 under the name of "Løveparken" with lions as the only animals. In 1970 Asian elephants arrived and today the park has more than 700 animals representing more than 70 species. The zoo is one of only ten attractions to be awarded 5 stars by the Danish tourist guide Jyllands Attraktioner and receives about 325,000 visitors a year.
There is a huge place where animals have huge space and they look great.
Is a place for the all family.
Dinosaur 🦖🦕 park is amazing with the real high of them . First time I see something like that dinosaur 🦖 park we all enjoy it.
Cheap anual pass so we can go many times a year.

Really lovely Zoo, no queues to get in and a great system for the drive-thru were you stop and park after teach section to look around other enclosures. The new bear enclosure was excellent and provides a large area for the bears to live in. Petting zoo for younger children which was nice. The lion drive-thru was a bit hit and miss....went round twice and still didn’t see them although there were lions in a separate enclosure. The lemurs are worth a visit especially as they have a few loose to walk around you, same with one of the monkeys. A very nice zoo with good picnic areas for eating your own foods but options to buy food seemed a little limited.
All in all the park is beautiful and has a lot to see and experience, but my trip got sour very quickly seeing the elephants in poor shape I have never seen any animal in such bad shape before I voiced my worries to the zoo but what I got from them was we know better then you attitude instead of reassuring me they are in a good shape or at least told me they look into it just from this I will never return and do not recommend this zoo.

Enjoy a day in the animal kingdom – GIVSKUD ZOO is only a 25-minute drive from Billund. Take the family on safari in your own car or on the GIVSKUD ZOO Safari Bus. You drive across the African savannah, where zebras and giraffes have right of way. Continue into the Lions' Den and feel the thrill as the big cats lumber past your car. Throughout most of the season, the gorillas, lemurs and other species are fed daily. If you need to take a break, GIVSKUD ZOO has lots to offer the whole family – it's a great place to play, relax and have fun! Visit the teepee camp, where children can bake bonfire bread and pan for gold.Let the children run wild on our huge play area and stroke the goats. And don't forget to see our Tyrannosaurus Rex and the other fascinating giants of the past in our Dinosaur Park. It's the biggest collection of dinosaurs in Denmark. Welcome to GIVSKUD ZOO.
Amazing place to visit with children of all ages (adults included). Bring rain boots and gear as it can be muddy. This has parts where you get out of the car and walk, and times when you have to drive through. There is a wide range of animals to view (camels, ostrich, flamingos, lions, wolves, goats, giraffes, monkeys) and more, with a children's petting area. There are multiple parking areas, picnic areas, playgrounds as well. Outside food and drink are allowed as well. There is also a safari bus if you don't want to drive your car around.
Egeskov Castle Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
I visited Andersen's hometown and found that the fairy tales are all deceptive
The reality of Denmark is even better than fairy tales‼️
🚗On the way back from Ribe to Copenhagen, I went to see the Egeskov Castle on Fyn Island. When I arrived, it was 4:30 in the afternoon and the castle closed at 5 o'clock. I thought I had missed the castle.
🏰Later, the ticket seller said: 5 o'clock is just the end of ticket sales, it does not prevent tourists in the garden from coming out, maybe we can contract the whole castle.
So, from 5 o'clock to 7 o'clock in the evening, I really contracted the castle, all the tourists left, and the whole castle was only us! This is too cool‼️
🌠Egeskov Castle is surrounded by a moat, there are swans in the river, the entrance is a chain bridge, it is really the same as the scene in the fairy tale, did Disney not refer to this castle!
🌈Denmark is really a treasure destination, the Nordic summer is too cute‼️
Address: South Denmark's second largest island, Funchal Island,
Iesco Castle is Europe's best preserved Renaissance waterfront castle, built in 1554. It is hidden in the deepest part of a forest park. The moat, the spire, the knight's foyer and the stone statue are the most worthwhile places to see.
Castle Appearance:
It is a forest paradise where children and young people can not only play on the ground, but also stroll through the small bridge between the two towering trees. Or explore the original labyrinth garden where children can enjoy themselves and spend hours of fun.
There are also many interesting exhibitions here. The exhibits include classic cars, dolls, airplanes, ancient costumes and whistling motorcycles. They are also full of fun. The
castle is built entirely on the water and connected to the outside world via a suspension bridge. In order to achieve this effect, the craftsmen used the oak as a pile foundation under the water, because the oak did not deform under water and the time was strong. The facts also proved the super-high skills of the craftsmen at that time. The castle was still very stable for nearly 600 years.
