Golden Reel Macau
Studio City is a huge hotel and shopping place found just beyond the main area of the Cotai Strip. Heading up in the lift just to the right of the entrance, you’ll find yourself walking along an empty corridor (besides a few studio monuments) this means you’ve reached the Golden Reel
Buy your ticket for 100MOP and you can enter into a ferris wheel delight.
The slow moving carriages are easily accessible and from the pods you’ll be able to see the airport runway.
Going around in a figure 8 makes this an unusual experience. Afterwards you can go out into the grounds and capture photos of the reel externally.

The Parisian 🇲🇴
#luxuryhotels
Located on the Cotai strip, The Parisian forms one part of the shopping and casino area famous for its style. The Eiffel Tower found outside the hotel can be accessed from Level 5 and up to L7 is included for free. Add 75MOP and you can travel up to the top of the tower in all its light up glory.
Inside the Parisian, you’ll find shops upon shops as well as food places. The huge casino fills most of L1 as well.
The rooms are either in the North or South towers and it can take a while to travel from lobby to South rooms. My room was a double room and it was huge, clean and inviting.

Coloane village

Built in 1928, when Macau was a colony of Portugal, it was named after the missionary who brought Christianity to the East. The chapel used to contain some of the most sacred relics of Christian Asia before they were moved to the city’s Museum of Sacred Art and Crypt behind the Ruins of St. Paul’s. The chapel is located directly behind a monument commemorating a victory over pirates in 1910.

Gorgeous Morning Views of Mount Fortress
Right across from the Ruins of St. Paul is Mount Fortress and the surrounding park area. Like the ruins, it's better to get there early to avoid the crowds. You can easily spend less than an hour talking a walk around the park and taking pictures of this historic fortress. Keep an eye out for the local cats, as a lot of them have made this historical sight their little playground. The ones I ran into were pretty shy, so I spent a few moments smiling at how cute they were and left them alone.
Overall, this was a great visit to start the rest of my day. Check it out if you're a fellow early bird like I am.#travel #macau #macautravel #historicalsights #macao #chinatravel

The Ruins of St. Paul and Macau street
As you approach the site, The Ruins of St. Paul, the grandeur and magnificence of the remaining facade instantly captivate your attention. It's truly awe-inspiring to see how this 17th-century Portuguese church has withstood the test of time, despite the ravages of fire and typhoons. The intricate carvings, elaborate stone statues, and detailed reliefs are a testament to the craftsmanship of the era.
Climbing up the steps towards the ruins, I couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder and curiosity about the stories that lie within these ancient walls. I was not disappointed. The Museum of Sacred Art and Crypt, located at the back of the ruins, offers a fascinating collection of religious artifacts and artifacts from the church's past. It provides a glimpse into Macau's religious heritage and the influence of the Catholic Church in shaping the city's identity.
After exploring the ruins, I decided to take a leisurely stroll along Macau Street. This charming street is lined with vibrant shops, bustling markets, and mouth-watering street food stalls. The blend of East and West is evident in the architecture, as traditional Chinese buildings stand beside Portuguese-style structures, creating a unique and picturesque atmosphere.
