🇨🇳Travel to Dali: Finding Peace in Paradise
#chinatrip
Just came back from Dali- a chill town that has left an indelible mark on me. I can't forget the serene beauty, the welcoming places to stay, and the delightful local cuisine that made my visit truly unforgettable.🥹 Here’s my recommendation if you happens to visit Dali:
🏨 Hotel to stay:
📍大理青橙小院 Dali Qingcheng Xiaoyuan(Trip.com)
🗒️No. 60, Society 7, Yangbo Village Committee, Yinqiao Town, Dali City, Dali, Yunnan
Price: Around 75sgd per night
Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
🩷Located near the peaceful er sea and just a 10-minute ride from Dali Ancient Town, complete with friendly staff and complimentary pick-up from Dali Railway Station. Its proximity to the lake offered easy access to picturesque bicycle trails, making it an ideal base for exploring and unwinding in Dali.
🍽️ Food to eat in Dali Ancient City
1. 幸会小仙女·自助石板烧·野生菌火锅(大当家店)
📍Beside 洱海门
Price: around $10+ per pax
Known for its mushroom hotpot, this dining spot prides itself on a broth that's rich, aromatic, and deeply flavorful, perfectly complementing the array of fresh ingredients available for dipping. The standout feature truly is the mushroom soup base, a testament to the chef's skill in harnessing the essence of local wild mushrooms to create a broth that's both comforting and complex. The ingredients are fresh too. 😙
2. 大理老渔家白族石板烧
📍玉洱路
Price: around $10+ per pax
Stone grilling elevates cooking to an art form here. Ingredients, fresh from Dali's landscapes, are seared on heated stones, ensuring flavors are locked in with a perfect, crispy outer texture. This method not only cooks food evenly but also infuses it with a unique, earthy essence. The two pax meal is just enough for two of us without ordering more. 😋
Dali is such a food paradise and I can’t wait to visit it again!
