The Boat Ride That Shows Off Singapore!
#mysgmemories
When friends fly halfway across the world to visit our sunny shores, a boat ride down the Singapore River does a good job of showing off everything that is beautiful on our little island state. They get to see the iconic triple towers that is the Marina Bay Sands, the ArtScience Museum, our impressive CBD skyscrapers, the historic and appropriately refurbished Boat Quay and Clarke Quay, Gardens By The Bay, and the Singapore Flyer!
We hopped off at the Merlion Park to say hello to the mythical Merlion (and baby Merlion), where the mandatory spout-into-my-mouth photo had to be taken. 🤣
A good time was had by all! And it was a trip the kiddies will not soon forget.

Starlight Stroll: Unveiling SG's Nighttime Charms
As twilight painted the sky, I embarked on a nocturnal exploration of Singapore's bustling city centre. The city, adorned with a tapestry of radiant lights, bloomed like a night flower, offering a sight to behold.
First stop: the iconic Merlion, majestically spouting water against the backdrop of the glimmering skyline, an enduring symbol of Singapore's prosperity. Strolling along Boat Quay, the iridescent reflection of charming colonial buildings on the water's surface enthralled me.
My steps then led me outside CHIJMES, a stunning gothic-style structure, which, under the starlit canopy, felt almost ethereal. The historic complex, with its intricate facades illuminated, narrated a story of architectural grandeur.
Finally, the vibrant, neon-lit strip of Clarke Quay, where the Elgin Bridge was alight with color. The city, now a kaleidoscope of hues, seemed more alive than ever. Truly, the nighttime allure of Singapore is unparalleled.

Uncovering 🇸🇬 Ultimate Yakiniku Experience!
If you haven't tried 59 Hutong Yakiniku yet, you're missing out on a mind-blowing culinary adventure! Located at Boat Quay, a bustling area known for its dining & nightlife scene.
59 Hutong Yakiniku offers premium meats including Japanese A5 Wagyu, Australian Wagyu, US Prime Angus Beef & seafood, expertly prepared, seasoned & grilled to perfection. It's an explosion of meaty juiciness with every bite.
Other MUST TRY on the menu include the Cuttlefish Sausage & Raw Crab Roe in Crab Shell. The Cuttlefish Sausage is made using sashimi grade Penghu cuttlefish, which is grilled gently over low heat to retain its excellent, bouncy texture for a beloved taste of the sea. The restaurant's signature Raw Crab Roe in Crab Shell is seasoned with Japanese miso, topped with butter & crab sticks, elevating its creaminess & lusciousness - making it a perfect dish on its own or even when mixed into a piping hot bowl of fluffy white rice.
The restaurant also has a great selection of alcohol, a cozy vibe & a stunning view of the Singapore River. Plus top-notch Taiwanese service, it is possibly the 👍Best Taiwanese Yakiniku in Singapore! I highly recommend you visit 59 Hutong Yakiniku! Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

Goong On Woon Sen which means prawn baked with vermicelli. One of my highly recommended dish there. Talking about it makes me start salivating over this dish. The tiger prawn and the seasoning of the vermicelli. Oh not to mention one of the important ingredients which is the pork lard was definitely a bonus to it.
Side track : They have a few selection of add on ingredients to the dish if you intend to have more variety.
