Changi Village Nasi Lemak!
Address - Changi Village
2 Changi Village Rd, #01-03, Singapore 500002
Ambiance/Facilities - hawker centre
Highlights - this area is famous with its nasi lemak that people are queue-ing for! But each stall has their own style and taste. Be it from the fragrant rice, chicken, or the sambal. Got this from International Muslim Food Stall Nasi Lemak. Their rice is power, super fragrant and even their anchovies taste unique, crispy and sweet. Chicken wing? Crispy and well season! So yum!! Their sambal is also filled with onion, quite sweet but not so sweet. Worth to visit and try even if you are not around changi village.

Delicious, authentic, local and cheap
Hawker centers are a must go in Singapore. Here you'll find all sorts of yummy food at bargain prices.
Simply browse the different stalls and choose what you want to eat. The choices are simply endless and you'll be able to savor all the typical Singaporean dishes. Some stalls have even been awarded Michelin stars!
The whole experience ia very uniquely Singaporean and dates back to the era when the government wanted to ensure its citizens had affordable means, yet clean up hawkers that were on the streets. Hence the government decided to house them in clean and hygienic centers.
Keep in mind, most of these places don't have air conditioning so be prepared to get hot and sweaty. However, the experience is worth it for the delicious food! The food is simple and some locations are even entirely outdoors.
