Beautiful Tak from afar
#CelebrateWithTrip
The very grand entrance of the gates to #tajmahal. Try to spot the brilliant optical illusion at the gateway!! A: The Arabic calligraphy is actually differs in size! The size of the Quran verses was gradually increased in a pre-calculated manner as their distance from the eye increased therefore it all seems consistent all over the arch from top to bottom #kreatipnau #theguidetoldus

Building made out of Love-Taj Mahal
#CelebrateWithTrip
Taj Mahal has always been on my bucket list ever since i was small. Apparently, it is listed as the seven wonders of the world. and upon learning the history of the majestic building, it caught my interest even more. love conquers it all and the mausoleum is the evident of such love.
plus the complex houses in the tomb, mosque, guest house and main gate.

'Mahal' view at Hawa Mahal
Totally in awe with the rear of Palace of Wind or #hawamahal. This 5 storey pink sandstone palace was constructed in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. Reason being: to allow the royal women a view of everyday life including festivals and celebrations through the windows, as they never appeared in public (without face covering: purdah) #theguidetoldus
Trivia: How many windows are there? A: 953 windows (Jharokhas) in total 😂 but i was busy wondering it must have been a tiring task to wipe all the windows. hehe
anyway, we really love thr building that we came again at night to have another shot. l. The cooling effect in the chambers, are through the breeze passing by the small windows and enhanced by the fountains provided at the centre of each of the chambers

Mesmerising Details at Amber Fort
One of the gates in #amerfort called #ganeshpole or #ganeshgate. I fell for the meticulous artworks of this entrance. Notice the small window? It is known as Suhag Mandir where ladies of the royals used to watch functions held in the Diwan-i-Am through the latticed windows #theguidetoldus
anyway, apart from pale yellow & pink sandstone, the magnificent #amerfort #amberfort is also made up of glowing white marble. from the turkish bath, the diwan, the chamber and everything in between.
as you look up to the ceiling, to your right, left and beneath your feet, every detailing was just mesmerising and we had so much fun appreciating the beauty of this place

White marble Taj Mahal

As we approached the gigantic white building, the feeling was so surreal and overwhelmed. the marbles gave you cold feeling and the calligraphy was so beautifully crafted.
