Oceanografic Valencia Spain 🇪🇸
#europetrip
The aquarium is worth a visit to Oceanographic 🐠🐟
The whole family has over 120 tickets, remember to buy them online. It's best to go at 10 o'clock ⏰in the morning.
It will be very hot in summer and start to get tired at noon. There are many restaurants inside, one of which is in an aquarium where you can see fish, which we didn't know at first. It was eaten at a self-service restaurant, the price is not cheap, and the taste is decent.
The aquarium is very good, with many sharks and large fish. Please forgive me for my lack of language. And there's the beluga whale, I've never seen it anywhere else. It's much larger than the aquarium in La Rochelle.
In addition, Valencia taxis are very cheap. Apart from requiring child seats when coming out of the airport, there are no requirements in the city, so it's the cheapest rental price in France. A French speaking driver born in Paris even complained to us for half a day. Compared to the price in Bordeaux, it is simply too affordable. Basically, when we go from Queen's Square to other attractions, it's within 10 euros, with very few exceeding 10 euros.💶

✨Must-Have Horchata y Farton in Valencia❤️
🇪🇸Vivacious Valencia🇪🇸
Having the famous and must-eat
“Horchata y Farton”. A Horchata (orxata in Valencian) is a refreshing, milky drink made from chufas, water, and sugar. Chufas are tiger nuts and these nuts are grown in Alboraya, which is just outside of the city.
A glass of fresh horchata is mostly accompanied by a farton, which is a sweet pastry.
❤️We went to the BEST place to have it, at The Horchateria de Santa Catalina, found in the Ciutat Vella in the middle of all the main attractions, and is definitely the most famous in town. Their horchata here is undeniably good along with the fartons, love a sweet crisp pastry dipped into the Hotchata—that’s the way to eat it😋
The traditional, folksy tiled décor indoor and outdoor is just stunning.Spacious place with very pretty and friendly ladies to serve you😊
Tip: Go sometime between 4-6pm and you will get seats, it gets pretty crowded in the morning so suggest to go tea time

Casa Golferichs, Barcelona and its history! 🌴
The Casa Golferichs in Barcelona stands as a testament to architectural brilliance and historical significance. Designed by architect Joan Rubio i Bellver, this Modernist gem was completed in 1901 during the Catalan Art Nouveau movement. Its distinctive features, characterized by intricate ironwork, elaborate facades, and innovative design, contribute to Barcelona's rich architectural tapestry.
Originally commissioned by industrialist Josep Golferichs, the Casa Golferichs was intended to be both a residence and a textile factory. Over the years, it has witnessed the city's transformation and served as a backdrop to various cultural events. The building's adaptive reuse, from a residence and factory to a cultural center, speaks to its resilience and ability to evolve with the changing times.
During the Spanish Civil War, the Casa Golferichs became a hub for social and political activities, hosting meetings, discussions, and cultural events. Its walls echoed with the voices of individuals advocating for change and social justice, turning it into a symbol of resilience and community spirit during challenging times.
Today, the Casa Golferichs stands as a living heritage site, preserving not only its architectural marvel but also the stories embedded in its walls. The cultural center within its premises continues to host a diverse array of events, from art exhibitions to lectures, fostering creativity and intellectual exchange.

Barcelona's Old Town Christmas Market 🎄
#christmas2023
No winter trip to Europe in December is complete without making a beeline for the Christmas Markets. In Barcelona, Spain, Fira de Santa Llúcia (Saint Lucy Christmas Market) is the city's biggest Christmas market where both locals and tourists flock to from end November to end December.
Situated in the city's stunning old town just in front of the imposing Barcelona Cathedral, the Fira de Santa Llúcia has been a yearly spectacle since 1786! It features dozens of stalls and attractions that liven up the atmosphere: artisanal craftsmen of all sorts of products, colorful decoration items and Christmas trees, delicious Christmas snacks, mulled wine and hot chocolate, and no shortage of giant Christmas trees for a quick photo opportunity!
I suggest setting aside about a whole hour to fully soak in the experience at this market, and to try the different snacks and drinks on sale - all traditional! Don't forget to also make friends with the warm locals who will proudly share more about the history behind the market, and of Barcelona itself. This is an enriching experience that one shouldn't miss when in the beautiful city of Barcelona! It's also right in the old town, so be prepared for a full day of adventures!
