One room Jail - TEXOLA Oklahoma, USA
The One Room Jail in Texola is a quirky roadside attraction along Route 66. The building, which was constructed out of cinder blocks at the end of the 1800s, consists of a single room with entry through an iron barred door. The interior also includes an iron barred window and displays about notorious outlaws. Outside, there is a randomly placed tombstone-style memorial paying homage to the graduating high school class of 1938.
A tiny building, standing all alone in a nearly abandoned ghost town.
Texola is a wired place
This horror filled reality actually took place when historic Route 66 was bypassed back in the 1960s. Texola, Oklahoma definitely is a casualty of the Route 66 bypass war. This small town straddles the border of the Texas and this little town has never really had it easy.
The History of Texola dates back to the early 1900s. Before being named Texola, the town site had been called Texokla and Texoma. Because of its location near the 100th Meridian, the town was surveyed eight different times, which meant that some early residents lived in both Texas and Oklahoma without ever moving.
Real worthy place as wited it is.

Interesting place in Austin 🏢

My time at Wonderspaces in Austin was an absolute delight! Tucked away in the heart of the city, this art space is nothing short of magical. 🎨
The location itself, nestled within the historic Windsor Park neighborhood, sets the stage for a unique and accessible art experience. What makes Wonderspaces truly stand out are the eclectic and interactive exhibits that invite you to be a part of the art.
Highlights for me included "Submergence," a mesmerizing LED display that felt like stepping into another world, and "Pulse Portal," an interactive light installation that responded to movement. The range of exhibits caters to every taste, from visually stunning to thought-provoking.
Wonderspaces' central location makes it an ideal starting point for exploring other parts of Austin. After my visit, I strolled down Mueller Lake Park and indulged in the local eateries nearby, like Halcyon and Lick Honest Ice Creams.
In essence, Wonderspaces Austin is a haven for art enthusiasts and those looking for a unique, engaging experience. Its central locale, diverse exhibits, and proximity to other local gems make it a must-visit for anyone seeking a touch of creativity in the heart of Austin. 🌟🖼️🏞️ #usa #austin #texas
Nice day trip to Austin 🏛️

My visit to the Texas Capitol in Austin left me in awe of both its historical significance and architectural grandeur. Situated in the heart of downtown Austin, this iconic structure is not just a government building but a symbol of Texas pride.
The Capitol's towering dome and pink granite façade immediately catch the eye. Walking through the rotunda and chambers, I was immersed in Texas history, surrounded by portraits, exhibits, and artifacts that tell the story of the Lone Star State.
The lush Capitol grounds with statues, monuments, and beautifully landscaped gardens offer a peaceful escape. The view from the south steps, with the city skyline as a backdrop, is picture-perfect.
Nearby attractions like the Bullock Texas State History Museum and the Blanton Museum of Art add to the cultural richness of the area. Exploring the vibrant streets of downtown Austin, known for its live music scene and eclectic eateries, provided a perfect complement to the Capitol experience.
In summary, the Texas Capitol is a must-visit, seamlessly blending history, architecture, and natural beauty. Its central location and proximity to other attractions make it a cornerstone of any Austin itinerary. 🏛️🤠🎶 #usa #austin #texas
The Dallas World Aquarium 🐟🐬
#timetotravel
The Dallas World Aquarium, situated at 1801 N Griffin St, Dallas, TX, is a captivating blend of aquatic wonders and lush rainforest environments. From the moment I entered, I was transported into a mesmerizing world of biodiversity.
The aquarium's highlight is the stunning recreated Orinoco Rainforest, complete with cascading waterfalls, exotic birds, and endangered species like the jaguar and manatee. The immersive experience is enriched by informative exhibits that emphasize conservation efforts.
The aquatic section is equally impressive, featuring an array of marine life, including playful river otters and graceful jellyfish. The tunnel that leads through the vibrant aquatic exhibits felt like a journey beneath the ocean.
The Dallas World Aquarium is a treasure trove of knowledge and adventure. It effortlessly combines education and entertainment, making it perfect for families, couples, or solo explorers. It's a reminder of the beauty and importance of our planet's ecosystems and a call to protect them. #dallas #Texas #usa

The 6th floor museum (Kennedy menorial)
Getting There - Downtown dallas, texas. There are some buses around and the monoriel but the best option is to go by car if possible.
Hotels - since it’s downtown, there are many hotel options around the memorial but it’s just a short activity that would take you 1-2 hours.
Food & Restaurants: There’s a nice little cafe crossing the street but downtown Dallas is full of cafes and restaurants. Be careful because they all close around 3pm until dinner time. #kennedymemorial #dallas #texas

Everything’s Bigger in Texas!
Looking for a place to shoot in Houston for free? If you're not trying to hit the Museum of Fine Arts, Hermann Park and the Pioneer Memorial Obelisk are the spots for you.
The park is a giant green oasis downtown. There are dozens of scenes for outfit or background changes. But the memorial in the middle gives you that Washington DC vibe.
Enjoy! #tripblazers #houston #texas #travel #photography #fallingforfall
A Walk through Dallas
Dallas can often be seen as a boring city, however the city has its own charm. Although the city itself is sprawling, the Downtown area is better served with trams. Further it's much less busy and chaotic than other American downtowns.
Head to the historic and iconic Sixth floor museum, where president JFK was assassinated. Dallas also has some more modern architecture, which is nice to appreciate. Don't forget to try the city's BBQ before leaving; you won't regret this filling dish!

Fun historic Texan city
San Antonio is a historic city that houses one of Texas's most famous monuments: the Alamo. Of course you have to make a visit to the Alamo which commemorates the historic Battle of the Alamo. The site is not overly large and it's a nice relaxing stroll around.
Also don't miss the Riverwalk, which is a relaxing promenade along the river with many restaurants lining it.
Finally, further afield, you'll find the beautiful Spanish missions. All in all, San Antonio has a different feel, which gives it its fun character.

Road trip to Austin
Road trip with my client to Austin. He brought me to the area where we can chill. Along the way we talked and have some random conversation aside from job. I got to know him and his family more on the road trip.
As this was my first trip to America, he allow me to take picture around, even stop at certain point to let me do so. But of course, not on the middle of the road. The journey take hours yet I couldn't feel it because time flies very fast when we enjoyed our conversation.
Road trip should be enjoyable, take a moment to stop and rest, stretch our legs as we may get cramp from sitting too long. While doing so, take a picture around or simply just rest.

Immerse in thoughts of living on space while seeing the exhibition at NASA during my business trip to America. My client brought me here specially just to explore and show what Texas have besides going to pub and bar.
It has so many displays and information on how you live in space, what is there in moon and the substances collected. Very informative and interesting fact about going to moon and living in space. There are also many types of space ship according to the need.
If you are around Houston area, you should visit here! This place is accessible by car. Plenty of parking space so you don't need to worry about it!

Discover the Space
Trip to America wouldn't be complete if you didn't visit any historical place. My client was kind enough to drive me around and show me what's in Texas, not just brought me to bars for drink.
This time round, I was amazed by the plane site located at NASA headquarter. There are displays and informative tag like in Singapore Science Centre. It's very spacious, enough for a day to explore inside. There are so many information regarding space ship and how people can reach the moon, living in space. But to get here, you must drive. Carpark available on site.

THE ALAMO-SAN ANTONIO
I have a chance to visit this beautiful historical place during my business trip. My client was kind enough to bring me around. She brought me to this place.
The Alamo Mission (Spanish: Misión de lamo), commonly called the Alamo and originally known as Misión San Antonio de Valero, is a historic Spanish mission and fort complex founded in the 18th century by Roman Catholic missionaries in what is now San Antonio, Texas, United States of America. It was the site of the Battle of the Alamo in 1836, where American folk heroes James Bowie and Davy Crockett died. Today it is a museum in the Alamo Plaza Historic District and part of the San Antonio Mission World Heritage Site.
This historic district was one of the early Spanish missions in Texas, built for the education of local American Indians after their conversion to Christianity. The mission was secularized in 1793 and later abandoned. Ten years later, it became the fortress that housed the San Carlos de Parras military unit's Second Flying Company, which probably gave the mission its name Alamo. During the Texas Revolution, Mexican General Martín Perfecto de Cos surrendered the fort to the Texan Army in December 1835, following the Siege of Béxar. A small number of Texans then occupied the compound for several months. Its defenders were annihilated at the Battle of the Alamo on March 6, 1836. When the Mexican Army withdrew from Texas a few months later, they tore down many of the Alamo's walls and burned several buildings.
Over the next five years, the Alamo was regularly used to garrison soldiers, both Texas and Mexico, but was eventually abandoned. In 1849, several years after Texas was annexed to the United States, the US Army began leasing the facility for use as a quartermaster depot, before returning to abandon missions in 1876 after nearby Fort Sam Houston was founded. The Alamo Chapel was sold to the state of Texas, which toured occasionally but made no attempt to restore it. The remaining buildings were sold to trading companies that operated them as wholesale grocery stores.

Get your Boots Here!
Address - 2505 S Loop W #610, Houston, TX 77054, United States
Ambiance/Facilities - department store, warehouse
Highlights - all the cowboy needs you will find here! Jeans, apparel, belts, hats, and many others like department store. It's so expensive but high quality as it made of leather. During my business trip to US, I have chance to go around the place as my client has interest in cowboy. He brought me to this store to look around and thought that I will buy something to bring back as souvenir but the price here is too expensive that I couldn't afford (even if I want to, I shall not). In the end, I just got one cowboy hat as present for my client (it's client after all 😛). Good quality of leather material but not suitable to be worn in Singapore.

During our last visit to Cracker Barrel in Arlington, Texas before the Taylor Swift concert, I enjoyed a delicious meal with my sister and friends. I found the food to be satisfying and well-prepared, with generous portions that left you feeling full and satisfied. In particular, I raved about the coffee and butter, which were both excellent and added to the overall enjoyment of the meal.
With friendly service and a cozy atmosphere, the Cracker Barrel was the perfect place to fuel up before the concert and spend quality time with loved ones.

A warm welcome to America
Arriving to El Paso Airport wa a great experience
The plane staff was friendly, easy to walk, Starbucks was open and the smell of warm coffee on a cold night helped to create a welcoming feeling that only a few airports can give you.
The seasonal greetings came together with a Christmas tree and lights all over the place. Also people looked so happy and content of being home just before Thanksgiving night. It was just beautiful.

Cadillac Ranch
Getting There - 13651 I-40 Frontage Rd, Amarillo, TX
Attractions - Cadillac Ranch is a roadside piece of art attraction. Standing along Route 66 west of Amarillo, Texas, Cadillac Ranch was invented and built by a group of art-hippies imported from San Francisco. They called themselves The Ant Farm, and their silent partner was Amarillo billionaire Stanley Marsh 3. He wanted a piece of public art that would baffle the locals, and the hippies came up with a tribute to the evolution of the Cadillac tail fin. Ten Caddies were driven into one of Stanley Marsh 3's fields
