Such a beautiful church
St. Charles's Church, or Karlskirche, is a magnificent Baroque masterpiece located in Vienna, Austria. Built between 1716 and 1737, it stands as a testament to the city's rich architectural heritage. Designed by Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach and completed by his son, Joseph Emanuel Fischer von Erlach, the church is a harmonious blend of architectural styles, incorporating elements of Greek, Roman, and Baroque traditions.
The church's stunning dome is its defining feature, and its interior boasts impressive frescoes by Johann Michael Rottmayr. St. Charles's Church also houses a collection of precious relics and sculptures, making it a significant religious and cultural site. Visitors can climb the dome's spiral staircase for panoramic views of Vienna. This historic church continues to be a symbol of both faith and artistic achievement in Austria's capital city.

A historical European oasis in Guangzhou
Shamian Island is my favourite place in Guangzhou and it was my safe haven during my 6 months living there, it was an oasis of calm in such a chaotic city. The Island was divided into concessions given to France and the UK in the 19th century and foreigners lived and worked on the island to help support the export of Chinese products. The island is separated from the mainland by a small river and this created a self contained zone that allowed western nations to establish trade missions without ‘being present’ on the mainland. Ultimately America, France, Holland, Italy, Germany, Portugal, japan and the UK had a presence on the island in big stone mansions along the water.
The buildings now house cafes, restaurants and shops and has become a surreal tourist destination, the buildings lining the street were built in the style of their respective western powers so it feels like you could be in Paris, London or Amsterdam. The buildings are grand and imposing as each nation tried to outdo the other with their architectural styles, leaving tree lined boulevards lined with buildings that stand out against the Chinese city that has developed around them.
You can reach the island via the Huangsha metro station and then walking over an overpass, also many bus routes have stops just outside the bridge that links the island to greater Guangzhou.
I’d really recommend this to anyone living in or visiting Guangzhou who is overwhelmed by the sheer scale and pace of the city, I used to love taking a book or my laptop to the Starbucks and just enjoying the peace.

Louvre Museum, 📍Paris
Traveling to Paris this summer and had the pleasure to visit the amazing Louvre Museum 😍
What an amazing experience which is truly unforgettable and if i have a chance i will surely visit it again. I got my tickets from the app “Get your Guide” which had discounted prices and various packages to choose from to visit the museum and trust me you will not regret it.. You have to go half an hour before your slot as the queues are long and takes time 😍😍
Once your in, you have 8 curatorial main sections to explore ranging from paintings to sculptures, objects and archaeological findings. I opted to visit the MonaLisa first and the queues to view and take pictures was insane but worth the wait 😍😍
The Grande Gallerie is a must visit place to sit down and enjoy the amazing sculptures and an amazing places to take some instagramable images and videos 😍😍
This place will surely have another visit from me in the near future but during off travel season so its not too busy 😍

Breathtaking building
Guided your review.
Book online ahead of time as slots go quickly. I had an English tour, although Hungarian and Spanish are available. The tour lasts 45 minutes.
Highlights include the Grand staircase, the debate room and the holy crown. The guard shows you around and the audio guide gives you tons of information.
No photos permitted of the crown. We were lucky to see a changing of the guard performance too.
You finish in a small museum. No lockers/cloakroom available. Time slots are fixed. There is no bathroom during the tour. Security is very high.
Tickets were 5000HUF. Overall a very enjoyable tour indeed.

🇦🇹Vienna’s Hidden Gem : Ankeruhr Clock 🕰️
Attraction: Ankeruhr Clock
Location: Hoher Markt 10-11, 1010 Wien, Austria
Direction: 10 minutes walk from Stephansplatz station
Everyday at around 12 noon, there will be a huge crowd around a clock in the middle of Vienna. That’s the Ankeruhr Clock. It is a Jugendstil mechanical clock built in 1914. Everyday at noon, there is a show
while music is being played for several minutes. I like this show very much because it’s the first time I saw a clock show. This is something very unique that you have to see when in Vienna.

Awesome museum
It is a fantastic museum and a fine example of maritime heritage preservation. I suggest this museum on a rainy day as it's mostly indoors and takes several hours.
The outdoor ship is great to explore and gives a glimpse of life back then. The indoor exhibits are detailed, well-kept, and informative. I especially like the 'curiosity' section. You can get a free audio guide.
The building itself is cool to explore, and there is a nice cafe, locker, and toilets.
If I remember entry, it was around 10 euros.

Most Beautiful Mosques of Istanbul
it's a magical city. Known as the city of the 7 hills as well as Lisbon, sister cities, they have so much in common and at the same time so different from eachother ! 🤗
The beauty of the details inside and outside the mosques are so impressive, no one can deny it.
Apart from the most famous ones, I personally recommend:
- Suleymaniye Mosque 🕌 away from the crowds and with one of the best views of the city
- New Mosque (Yeni Cami) 🕌 just after Galata Bridge and near Spices Bazaar
- Ortakoy Mosque 🕌 smaller, authentic and not a single tourist inside
explore Istanbul, I lived 1 year there and it feels like I've seen so little yet ! an entire world in a city 🌍

London to-do List for First Timer
Visiting London is always a breeze, it seems like London offers a different atmosphere compared to other surrounding countries in Europe. Other than the currency that is different (Pound sterling ) from other European Countries that use Euro, the food, architecture is and the culture in the UK is also different.
If you are a first timer in the UK, let’s start from London first. The city is the center of the United Kingdom’s Monarch. You can visit and also see Buckingham Palace here.
London is popular with their red Telephone Box, which was previously used for people to call their family and friends. As now we can call everyone with the mobile phone in our hand, the Phone Booths is not being used anymore, but still there and you can use it as your instagram object!
As a fan of Julia Roberts or Hugh Grant or just loving Rom-Com in general, pay a visit to the Notting Hill area. Yes, the Rom-Com movie name was taken from this area in London, where they have iconic pastel-coloured houses. Also yes, you can find the “Notting Hill shop” that they used to shoot the movie too in this area. Sadly, you can’t see Julia Roberts or Hugh Grant there.
Don’t forget to also experienced to be in the famous London Red Double Decker bus! You can find the bus almost everywhere around London to commute. As Big Ben is finally done with their restoration, you can add this landmark building in your list, together with London Eye.

A reflection bowl in Rotterdam
Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen the name
A place nice for photo, from far you can see it as giant bowl or cup with mirror alike glass. It reflected the clear and nice sky in Rotterdam. Many people snaps there, the building as the object, or background or the reflection for selfie and wefie. It is literally something that mesmerised me the most in Rotterdam!
It is a museum in fact but I didn’t go in because I only attracted by the outside. Walking further with some park and other museum as well.

A day in Oslo Sentrum.
Being able to witness Oslo pride is such a privilege. I’m truly grateful for the love and support of the Norwegians for the LGBT 🏳️🌈 community. People were so kind and loving 🥰. The community vibe was full of inspiration and vibrant. I got to check the National Theater which was my highlight of today’s visit. If you happen to have a sneak peak of Sentrum don’t forget to take a chance to see the Sentrum park. It’s beautifully peaceful and it designed for both children and adults. 😍 #mytripvlog #oslobattractions #oslo #norway #europe

An excellent and fun morning at Park Güell
Park Güell is a private park located in Barcelona near La said and El Coll neighborhoods. If you are staying in Barceloneta or Barcelona Center, I will suggest you to get the metro L3 and get off and the Lesseps or Vallarta stops, which is 20 mins walking to the Park. Unfortunately, you do have to pay do get in the park. The cost of the ticket is 10 euro and it will cost extra to visit Gaudi house located in the park. I have researched a little bit and I saw that there are some ways to get into the park for FREE, however, since I was there for short time and it was a last minute plan I didn’t have time to sign up for a free entrance! If you’re curious to know how to get there please contact me!
TIPS: wear comfortable shoes, bring some cash(there are many vendors selling cute items), and carry a hat!
